I've been thinking that, once I have enough spare money saved up, I'll get one from either the nearby Air Force Base Exchange, since there's no sales tax there, or try to find a cheaper one online, like on Amazon

Suggestions? I didn't put how much the regular 3DS costs on base since I can't remember, though I believe its around $160.

    yo mama's house

For real though, check around for bundle deals. I think the 3DS itself will be the same price wherever you go, unless the store is having a sale or promotion. Kotaku might be a **** news site but their daily Moneysaver will sometimes advertise bundle deals or sales.

Well, it depends on which you're planning to get. Are you gonna go for the original 3DS, or are you willing to shell out extra for a 3DSXL?

Like Misty said, buying a bundle might be better, but it all deoends on your preference.

    I second yo mama's house!

But yeh a bundle would be a good idea as it saves a bit of money on your part. If I were you I'd be looking at the Mario Kart 7 bundle.

I got a 3DS for $60 on eBay if that influences your decision.

Gonna hit them ****ers up then.

Ehhhhhhhh I've never bought stuff of eBay and kinda want to avoid it (never bid on stuff and it's different and that scares me)

    Though I'll check Half.com too.

Aw c'mon, it's not that bad. Just make sure you set a price cap for yourself before you go in, and never bid higher than your cap. Check the descriptions carefully and make sure you know what you're getting. I've gotten a few things off there already and they all work well enough. Hell, the only time (I've suspected) somebody screwed me was when selling stuff, not buying.
