Kingdom Hearts Best Moment/Experience in KH

Just post your favorite moment of KH1. I have to say the Sora-Riku fight was my favorite. Just the sheer challenge and how it progressed the story along made me love it (despite the ulcers it must've given me).

 

i would agree with you... if my stupid so called friend would actually let me play.. thanks to her it took me 20 times to do it (literally -_-;) but i loved the Sora-Kairi movies, they were so sad

The ending when Sora and Kairi said they'd come back for each other. It was really sad but sweet. And also when Riku and Sora were seprated for the first time... That was also a sad moment.

 

For me it´s definately the scene in Hollow Bastion (first visit)... When Sora releases the heart and they start to playing that song... Soooooo very beautiful... One of the saddest and most beautiful moments I´ve ever seen - all categories... Makes me cry every single time...

 

I really liked the Hollow Bastion game time. It was long-lasting and even though it was frustrating, the story really touched me (I was like... 10?). But it was a most memorable moment for me.

 

I liked the ending a lot too. When Sora and Kairi were being separated. That was a really good ending. I know that sounds weird but its just the way they made it.

 

I was getting all pissed in the ending, he just found Kairi and then he just loses her, couldnt she just like, jump?

but mine had to be ummmm Hollow Bastion was amazing

 

I like the Hallow Bastion part(first visit) where Riku gives Sora the wooden sword.
I was like, "Yes, the almighty stick. Beware." But it was a sad part but I also started to tear up when Sora realeases the heart and yeah...I'm a wimp. xP

 

When Sora rescues Kairi and gives her heart back and become a Heartless for a little while..

because Roxas came out of it. :D

Okay, srsly, I loved loved loved the ending. I thought it was beautiful and tragic. I also liked when Riku took the Keyblade from Sora. It was very welldone and emotional.

 

that time has got to be good like when i beat zelda tp i was so happy
but i havent yet beat kh but i hope to soon and im stuck at the sora-riku battle SO FUSTRATING

 

best part, hmm...probably when sora and kairi are re-united and when i beat sephiroth for the first time (so awesome!!)

The events in Hollow Bastion, especially the second Riku battle; it's one of the more challenging fights in the game (although literally having played Kingdom Hearts through at least 12 times, nothing is really that hard to me anymore) and Forze Del Male is one of the most epic battle tracks in video game history. <3 Whenever I battle him, I usually stall with Guard and try to attack as little as possible just to prolong the battle and for the sake of making the battle feel more epic.

 

I'm not sure which is my fave but:
Riku's "If there are any other worlds out there, how did we end up on this one?"
I think that's such a deep philosophical question. It's just so awe inspiring to even think about it.

And when Riku takes the Keyblade from Sora. It was an amazing piece of acting from all the voice artists and the staging, lighting, postioning just made Riku seem all the more powerful over Sora. And Riku really did take everything from Sora at that point. His friends, the one thing that made him special and above all his dignity. Throwing him that toy sword was effectivley saying: You're just a usless little child. Go be a usless little child.

 

I like when Sora turns into a Heartless, his voice got so annoying. He couldn't talk as a heartless, so HA! IN YOUR FACE, KEYBLADE MASTER! YOU AINT SO TOUGH NOW!

They did a phenomenal job with that moment in every aspect -- as well as just about all of the emotional moments in the game. They could have messed that up horribly, but it was perfect.

For me, though, the moment where Sora releases Kairi's heart from his own was the 'greatest moment'. Firstly, I'd just like to say that I cried like a baby. Secondly, the sheer way he did it was perfect. It took a moment for it to click that Sora would ever do that, it was the last thing I would expect, and then he examines it before doing anything like he knew it was the end, right there. Sometimes I really think he's smarter than people give him credit for as a character (and other times I wonder if he has a brain or not. >>; ). The outrageously stupid grin he gives his friends before he stabs himself, a reference to when he first met them (and quite possibly his way of saying everything will be okay? Hmm.). I don't know if anyone else has gone through that bit frame-by-frame (you don't even really need to to notice this -- I just make a lot of AMVs is why I've done it), but right after smiling his face becomes VERY serious and focused, even a bit sad. Then he releases all of the hearts from the Keyblade, and Kairi's from his, and the imagery was just awesome. It was just well done.

And on a lighter note, controlling a Heartless was DANG AWESOME. XD;

 

Possibly the greatest moment for me in KH1 was when Sephiroth appeared. lol, I went "Oh ma' gosh!!" 'cause he's the coolest villian I have ever seen!

 

For me it would probably be when Sora was closing the door and Riku was on the other side. I just thought it was so...beautiful. Makes me nearly cry every time. Best friends splitting to go on different roads...*sigh*
