Best Male and Female Anime Character

For all animes, who do you think is best male character? The best female character? Based on character, depth, personality, and story, not just because he/she is your favorite, please. :)

For me, the best male character is Hao Asakura (also known as Zeke in the American dubbing...), from Shaman King. He's very complex and enigmatic, always nonchalant yet caring at the same time. He wields strong power and magic, and although he seems to want for evil, his intentions are good.

On the other hand, the best female character would be Lucy/Nyu, from Elfen Lied. The concept of having a split personality definitely makes her intriguing. Nyu is sweet, innocent, and naïve, while Lucy is cold, manipulative, and revengeful, with a complicated past. She is a character with depth that can either make you laugh, or regard her with fear/respect.

 

The best male anime character is definetly Sven Vollfied from Black Cat. He's got class, he has a very interesting past, he's resourceful and he's living proof that chivalry's not dead.

And as for best female character, I'd have to say Soi Fon from Bleach. Damn, she's fast and a total overkill.

 

The best Anime boy is Inuyasha from Inuyasha. The reason he's the best is because he's awesome with a sword, has kinda an attitude, but always tries to do good, always cares for Kagome, and has the right intention for fighting.

The best Anime girl is Saya from Blood plus. The reason why she's the best because she always cares for her brothers, has the right intention for fighting(like Inuyasha), shes nice, and she never gives up.

Those two are the best in my opinion. :D

 

Male Character: Negi Springfield of "Negima! Magister Negi Magi!" He's only 10 years-old, a Welsh gentleman who teaches middle-school English in an all-girls school, is well-versed in Chinese Kenpo, Wind and Light magic, and always strives to be like his father, the legendary "Thousand Master." So, he's mature, chivalrous, and the girls can't keep their hands off of him. ;)

Female Character: Naru Narusegawa of "Love Hina." She's got beauty and brains. She also became a middle school teacher, is an incredible singer (thanks to Yui Horie), and is well-versed in kicking the crap out of anyone who violates her personal privacy. Her specialties are the "Naru Punch" and "Naru Kick." And those who get through her defenses find that she's a hopeless romantic and actually enjoys beating her "promise boy" up whenever he "accidentally" sneaks a peek on her changing or violates her. :D

Favorite anime male: Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist . How could you dislike the flame alchemist? He's the greatest colonel in the history of anime. I like his attitude and views on things as well.

Favorite anime female: Lucy/Nyuu from Elfen Lied. She had one hell of a past, and her personality is dark yet loving. Her past shows what people can become without friends and family. Not to mention she just kicks *** in general. xD

 

well I dun watch a lotta animes, but from wat I no...

Male: Itachi-Evil, bloodthristy, (ok...maybe not) merciless, powerful...need I say more...

Female: umm...Let me come bak to u on this one. Never thought about it much...

 

Wow, I guess we both agree on who the best female character is. XD

 

Male: Right now, I would say Hiruma from Eyeshield 21. Beneath his devil personality and dirty tactics to get what he wants, he has a heart dedicated to something he loves: american football. He's a great leader for his team and can make things humorous or serious. Also his way of thinking is unkown to people, giving his actions more meaning.

Female: ...Kururu from Air Gear. Though she is suppose to be a king/queen of the ring road, she keeps teamwork as her number one priority. Her kindness makes her somewhat of a link for disputing parties and she gives what she does her best shot.

 

Male: L from Death Note
Female: Nami from One Piece

 

Best Male: Haji from Blood +
Best Female: C.C. from Code Geass

My female Character would have to be Euphemia Li Britannia. She's kinda hearted and kinda. She fended for the weak, and gave up her title of Vice Roy, just to change Japan.

for male im not sure its between axel, tobi, shigure sohma, hollow ichigo (hichigo) or gin ichimaru
for female is isuzu "rin" sohma

 

the most interesting and my favorite boy anime character has to be Light Yagami from Deathnote. his character is just so cool, the way he thinks and acts just makes me soooo... well, i think hes cute, but hes a complexly awesome dude,too!

as for a girl im not sure... right now id have to go with Princess Sakura from Tsubasa... shes just sooo cute how could you not like her? oh and my BF likes to pretend that hes the hero and im the princess when we watch that anime so i frikkin love it!

 

My favorite anime male has got to be Inuyasha. I just love him, he's awesome. He's a half demon with a complicated life wanting to be normal (in his case, a demon) Who doesn't love a lil bit of emotional drama with violence and hotness? ;)

And my favorite anime female is Sakura from CardCaptor Sakura. She is just so cute! And her outfits are amazing!! She's all bubbly and sweet <3 but she is also strong and know's when to get serious.

 

Male - Kamina from TTGL. He's Chuck Norris times 2. He can deflect a Falcon Punch with a finger. HE IS SO GAR

Female - Not really sure about a female... maybe... Orihime from Bleach? I dunno.

 

This is a hard one. I can't just pick one.....lets see Inuyasha reasons already said though it isn't because Kagone keeps getting in the way, but because I love the intense confrontation he has with his brother Sesshamaru (I know I spelled his name wrong.... being half demon and underestimated until he shows everyone how he can really fight.

Two villians from Yu-gi-oh not dubbed version... Yami Bakura, very unpredible villain who almost succeeds with having the world cleched in darkness and death. Yami Malik from the same show and almost suceeds with his carnival of darkness and killing the main character as well. Nope the hero never dies.

Piccolo from DB and DBZ. Namekian warrior who is the only one who really can keep up to the saiyans levels. He had gotten closer to defeating Goku than Vegeta at times. Go thing Goku is such a splendid fighter though he can be absentminded at times.

Uh can't think of anymore in the meantime. So some are old school anime, haven't really seen anime that can go up to best in my opinion. There are so many out there I guess I just picked out my favorites or something.

 

Best Male character would be Light Yagami.He is bada**.He goes from good to evil even though he thinks he's good.But,I don't have a fav for female character's.I like most of the ones I see,but,one that is good would be Rukia from Bleach.
