I was wondering what are the best commands for all three characters in BBS. If you can please include how to get them too.

    Shinybloom - Aqua.
    Multivortex - Ventus.
    Ultima Cannon - Terra.

To obtain these shotlocks, you have to complete the Keepers of the Arena match in the Mirage Arena first.

As for the finish commands, the last ones you get are always the best. Or the most useful.

    Demolition - Terra.
    Stratosphere - Ventus.
    Teleport Spike - Aqua.

Aren't the ultimate commands like Time splitter and mega flare better? Or maybe Magic Hour thats a good one too

Aqua only, Break + Zero Graviga / Reflect Surge + Aeroga.

Also, in some situations, other Finisher's Shotlocks are a lot better than the highest tier ones.

Air Fleet 4 does a lot more hits, and therefore more damage on bosses than Stratosphere, Ramuh's Judgment with Terra also does a lot of hits (Though Demolition's Invicibility could be more useful sometimes), and Heal Strike ignores Vanitas Sentiment's Heal counters and it also does the same damage as 3 Surges of whatever type too.

Also, Pulse Bomb (Ven) is incredibly good, since it never misses and can't be guarded, Dark Volley (Terra) can send stuf far far away easily (And possibly does more damage than Ultima on a single target) and Rainbow Shower (Aqua) also does more hits than Shinning Bloom.

That one poison shootlock is much better than those endgame ones, IMO. I believe it can be bought for medals at the Mirage Arena.

As for the attack-commands, I generally preferred stuff like Ars Arcanum/Ars Solum over Time Splicer. I also found Aqua's Magic Hour to be pretty good. But really, all you need in this game is a cure spell and whatever other commands you have, then just press triangle to win.

As for how to get abilities in general, the answer is GameFAQs. It's not that hard to look up.

Or if you mean for PVP, all you need is (as Aqua at least) Magnega + Seeker Mines. That is seriously all you need to do a kill-combo. If you get hit, you pretty much can't escape because they keep you stunned for a ridiculously long time. (Way too many abilities stun, and for way to long, but this particular combo just annoys me...)

    Or just Time Slicer(Aqua/Ven)/Dark Haze(Terra).
Time Slicer is an instant teleport attack, you just need to look on, and since no one is immune to stop ever(Magnega can be dodged by mashing square as usual, stop can't), it's devastating.
And Dark Haze inflicts doom, which is auto-kill, though i'm not sure if that nets you any points, if not just pair Stopga + Attack-that-has-an-insane-amount-of-hits.

Time Splicer can be blocked pretty easily, though. And, yeah, Magnega can be tricky to hit with, but if it hits you're screwed. Also forgot to mention Bind. Pretty broken, though not as much as Stop/ra/ga.
