    First Trailer: "Father to Son"

I'm really glad that Rocksteady are the ones developing this time. No doubt we'll be using the Batwing too.

So far, the game is confirmed to be coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

After a decent Batman game last year, I think it's time to give the fans the true Batman game to put a close to this trilogy. Now in the hands of Rocksteady, I'm very happy to see this game come out in October.

The Batmobile is an interesting take. It makes me think if it's involved, that means Gothem City will be much larger than every before. Like A LOT MORE.

I shall wait patiently (hopefully) as more info comes out for this game, especially in E3 2014.

Apparently, the world in this game is five times the size of Arkham City's world.

It's looking beautiful, though I didn't like the "slim batman", the previous Arkham/Batman was full of muscle to sell us the idea that he is BATMAN, he broke free from his chains using his strenght! It isn't something I can see this new batman doing.. batman needs its muscles because he is not a super being, outside this I love it.

My friend told me that there will also be a new character who is the "Arkham Knight" but I always thought that was referring to Batman? Does anyone have any information on this?

I have never played this series, I have watched my friend play them and they look like a lot of fun and if I didn't have a huge pile of games to play then I would probably pick these games up but just the idea of being able to have a huge city of explore and a batmobile that you can call : D I just love the idea.

It's a quadrilogy since Arkham origins was a prequel in the series.
I'm worried it's a bit soon for another Arkham game. I mean it'll be a year since Origins, which I felt was too samey because it was City in many ways. They'll really have to push the line to make it as good.

From what I've heard, Arkham Knight is a new enemy who will be similar to Batman in a few ways, like the equipment, skills and so on. Imagine Dark Link or that alter ego villain that mirrors the hero. It's suppose to be a play on Batman, of course, since he's also technically the 'Dark Knight' and stuff.

But it was still part of the series, same world, same mechanics, same characters, having a different studio doesn't take away from that. I think they distance Origins just because it's not the same flying success the other two achieved. Still, I doubt how much they could change things much like the combat and stealth sections, since they were basically perfect, without ruining it all.
I'd welcome to be proven wrong.

See that scares me a bit. Arkham Asylum reminded me of an old collect-a-thon in more ways than one, and I loved that about it; every room was an adventure in itself. Arkham City's structure was a little more fast-and-loose, but ultimately still fun to explore and packed to the brim with crafty secrets. Can they fill five times the size of that space with just as much content? I really don't care how big it is if there's nothing in it.

I'd argue that having a different studio does take away from that. In my opinion, many of the complaints about Arkham Origins stem from Warner Bros. Games Montréal choosing to go with a safer approach to developing Arkham Origins (which is already a safer route due to being a prequel story for Batman,) instead of possibly screwing up by trying many new things (multiplayer being the biggest difference I'd say.)

Judging from just how detailed all of Arkham City was (I spent a lot of time exploring that world's nooks and crannies,) I have complete faith in them doing Arkham Knight's increased scale justice.

I don't blame them for playing it safe and generally improving on City's system. WB Montreal had only previously ported City to the WiiU and worked on a web game. Honestly, they did a lot more than I expected of them for the lack of real experience in a triple AAA title.
In the end they di their job as a filler in the Arkham series, and I personally enjoyed my time with it even if it lacked the spark of the past games.

Yeah, as much as people were (understandably) a little let down by Arkham Origins, the game was still good. It's kinda hard to compare with two of the greatest superhero games ever made is all.
