I played it once, but it proved itself too complex for my feeble mind to comprehend. The multitude of bat equipment alone, the numerous suit upgrades up for purchase... It boggles the newbie mind. Spiderman was of more interest, mechanics seemed easier to master. Shoot webs, what else? It's Spiderman, it's simple. Bogglement does not surpass how do i shot web.

On top of that, it's visual appeal requires a certain mood. It is not everyday that I can appreciate a dystopian atmosphere, with smog clogging our views. I recognise the subjectivity of this overview, and freely admit to having not been 'in the mood'. Probably a good game. Gotta get moody sometime.

It's better to start with Arkham Asylum.
Arkham City is more for those who played the first game.

Honestly one of my favorite games ever, along with the first one. So much to do, love the atmosphere (first did it better, but this one is no slouch), a bunch of cool references to the source material, amazing combat, a few puzzles that really take some brain usage, a really cool story...really, my favorite game released last year.

It was a good game. Not a great game, and not one of the best games to come out last year, but it was truly unique and I had fun with it.

A great addition to the Rocksteady saga of Batman games, everything worked really well in it, BUT I still say Asylum had better atmosphere, and it was more pleasing because it had been so long since a good comic book hero game had come out that was actually really good so it made it all better.

Do love City though, dat Freeze fight.

Yeah, that's because it has really great graphics.
I have it on PC and I play it on the lowest settings, and it still looks great.

Now THAT was a doozy. I absolutely love how you just HAD to keep thinking, to stay one step ahead, use your surroundings and just basically BE BATMAN. I mean most other boss fights in general, they're fast, flashy, and you figure out a pattern and make sure you press everything at the right time. Those can be great too, but this, this was something.

    Here are some tips:
    1) Quote the post you are referencing
    2) Say what is is you are talking about, don't be vague
2.1) How was I supposed to know you were talking AA if you didn't mention it in your post?
    3) Use proper grammar!

Sorry this post was off-topic, but I thought it was necessary.

Arkham city had to be the best i've played in a while but a little too easy for my taste. The cutscenes were always EPIC. and the character models they used with graphics couldn't be better. Also, the soundtrack in and off game ones are both worth getting as additionals to the game.
