Baka and Test: Summon the Beast

We're watching this in my campus's anime club and I fell in love with it. The idea of the show is that this special school has a special way to have kids really study for their exams. They can chose war with one of the classes (arranged A through F, A being the highest while F being the lowest) and have their summon beings fight in an epic battle.

This is a very interesting show to watch. It has a lot of funny moments while it saves the message of the episode for the end (much like other animes), but it is still entertaining to watch.

Funimation has the rights to the episodes for English, but there is currently no cast for the dubbed version of the anime, which would be interesting to see. Currently, the episodes are for free viewing, in the Japanese dub, on Hulu and YouTube.

I'm really interested in seeing who they chose to dub this thing. There's a part of me that thinks it'll be done by the same cast for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, which wouldn't be too bad. I think Minami should be voiced by Monica Rial, but that's just my personal opinion.

 

I also seen this anime and I argee schools should be like this lol, if you win a war, you get something from the other class.
