Backgrounds of the missing Organisation members (IX to XII)

I´m wondering if we will ever get to know the backgrounds of Demyx, Luxord, Larxene and Marluxia. I often ask myself why they joined the organisation, how and where they lived as Somebodies, what their true names are, and how they became Nobodies in the end.

Do you think we will get answers in KHIII, I hope so, because after all their Somebodies should be restored as well, like the ones of the other members.

 

Why Luxord? Ok, he was not a coward nor was he a traitor, but he was far away from being evil as well. Not like Marluxia or Saix. The only thing why he could be more important is the fact that he controls time. I´ve always wondered why a person controlling time has such a minor role in KH, compared with other franchises. Time or a being controlling it, has always been powerful and important too.

 

I bet Marluxia was a gay flower gardener! Jokes aside, I'm pretty sure Luxord will appear in the new Organization as well.

 

They are all alive now, no? So they can appear even just to give us intel on the organization, that is the ones that didn't turn into Xehanort.
If I could make one change in KH series would be Xaladin being able to turn THE BEST into a Nobody, I could really see he as "Prince Nobody" and a "Best Heartless".
They could even make him back after, and Bella bringing him back from death with a kiss, just for us to see an awesome nobody :(!

 

Nobody really knows what happened to those four, its still a mystery, that definitely needs to be solved in my eyes, but I doubt that they haven´t returned as Somebodies. From what I know, the new Organisation is more evil than the original one, no wonder with Xemnas, Master Xehanort and his Heartless.
I don´t know, but as I´ve said Luxord was never such an evil guy in my eyes, but perhaps there is something about him we don´t know yet. I would like to see him in a larger role, but I can´t really imagine Luxord being part of the new Organisation.

It would also be interesting why Demyx was chosen to be part of the Organisation. I can´t believe that he acted way different as a Somebody, so who decided to let him join?

 

Well it would be kind of you not to tell me things that happen in Dream Drop Distance since I havent played it yet and I dont want to be spoilered. But I didnt tell you before so its not your fault.

Thats a good point, Luxord was among the last surviving members, but look at Days, Luxord was among the members who didnt know the truth about Xion. Yet, I still wonder what Luxord can really do? Why wasnt he for example asked to turn back time when Roxys left? Can he do things like that?

 

Thats true, I would also like to see Luxord in a more prominent role. he deserves it. But we shouldnt forget that this theme should also deal with Demyx, Larxene und Marluxia. As far as I know Marluxia is one of the fan-favourite members of the Organisation. I dont understand that but, oh well.
I recently asked myself how the members got their powers to control for example fire? They didnt have such powers when they where Somebodies, or at least they never used it.

 

I think their power comes from the darkness in some degree. To become Nobodies they had to lose their hearts to the darkness, and by that point they had some dark powers like creating dark corridors, when they are back they still got these powers because the darkness still lives whithin their hearts. Is like Riku who was once in darkness gainend some dark powers like his "dark form" , Dark corridor, Dark Firaga, Soul Eater , etc... and even after being "saved by the light of kingdom hearts" he still got some of these powers (even whithout being able to make a dark corridor anymore).

And than again... we are not sure if they didn't got any powers beforehand as magic is a universal concept in KH universe well know for most people in the worlds, if they are hot shots scientists they should be aware of magic as a "field of science"

 

Then I wonder why each member only uses one kind of magic and that still doesnt explain why for example Demyx controls water and Larxene lightning, since they are no scientists. I can only guess that is has something to do with their life before they became Nobodies.

 

They all work for Oraganization XIII, most of its members worked with the original Ansem the wise so they maybe scientists , lab engeniers , or something like that.. we can't be sure as their past wasnt reveled.

The thing you have to keep in mind, is that Kingdom Hearts worlds are naturally magical worlds, unlike ours that magic is a strange concept, that doesn't exist or it happens so barely that most don't notice. Whereas in Kingdom Hearts worlds Magic/science crossover most of times, and we should see Magic as a concept that is present in their every day life.. Is like you are doing some class at college, or maybe you "could get you major in : Biology, Archeology, Odontology, Engenering, physics, chemestry.... OR MAGIC!" all things being as normal , as the other.

Being their world magic as it is, machines do magical stuff as often as magicians. Tron's got a heart, the Dataworld was created by a machine but got magical capacities, even the study of the HEART by Ansem was made purely with machinnes (Nobodies, Roxas, and Sora included).

So You must think, If you are a brainiack that LOVES machines, you'll use them to do whatever you want, including magic! The same goes with you interest is chemestry, biology, etc... the fields of knowlodge crossover themselves.


So even if IT SEEEMS that Marluxia, Larnxene , etc.. aren't scientists they could just be people interested in the nature of the heart that gave their input into the research lead by Ansem (the wise), and being magical as they were, they stick with the field they were more apt.

This is only an observation, due to the fact that members that were show beforehand like Xigbar (with dual guns) foght the same way as humans, they did as nobodies ... so even things like "HE JUST TELEPORTED HIMSELF" can be seem a normal, or maybe queer hability, but not impossible to achive for anyone. Sure magic is an hability as much as surfing is... so everybody probably could surf, but most people suck at surfing... some even understands the "physics behind it" , while others just surf whithout thinking about it.


If they were not magical beings from the start there is always option b:

 

Possible. What do you think the four did before they became Nobodies? I can imagine that Demyx could have been some kind of singer and Luxord could have been a professional gambler. But for Larxene and Marluxia, I dont have anthing in mind...
