-Eal
-Ale
or - Lea

xDD maybe he was female in his past life.
also the katakana spells: A-ku-se-ru
take out the 'ku' for the 'x' and your left with A, se, and ru

Quinton Flynn and Keiji Fujiwara might have done the same voice acting for both Reno and Axel, in advent children and in the game, but i seriously doubt they're the same person...

Xemnas got lazy on the name for him. Other than calling him Lexax, he just rearranged the letters. :D

 

I always think that his name was Ale only because it makes him sound like a fashionable alchoholic. I think it was a cute idea. XD

when i 1st saw reno i thought he looked like axel a bit.

so maybe he is reno's nobody.

As far as a surname, maybe something fire related, or my boyfriend randomly suggested "Morpheus". Axel Morpheus. Doesn't have a good ring to it at all....bleh.

Look at this... Ale is his name. His father gave him a femenine name for him to fight back and become stronger. Then one he went out to kill his father for putting such a femmenine name. He was then found by Xenmas in a bar all drunk. Yes I have a wierd imagination.

 

thats true! xD I thought that he could be Riku's nobaody, but yeah, my friend remind ((again with a friend lol)) that Riku never became a heartless...so....axel can't be riku's nobody...nor could he have had one...

uhm...actually namine doesn't really need a 'x' in her name, maybe cuz she's a special nobody or for the fact that she's not in the organization...but if that doesn't really matter maybe you're right... maybe axel's real name could be something WAAAYY off like fire in japanese(as someone said before) made to sound more like a name. and as for the surname...i haven't even found the real first name.
