358/2 Days Axel's "Friends"

I saw in a trailer of 358/2 days that Roxas, Axel, and Xion were close but in KH2 Axel said that Roxas was the only one he ever liked.....
Any Ideas?

 

well since no one ever mentions Xion in Kingdom Hearts 2 then I think it may be possable that Namine erased everyone's memory of her for some yet to be known reason.

 

Let's see besides Roxas it would be Demyx because the guy has high respect for Axel and was sad when he left the organization. So he missed him and cared that he was gone while the other organization could care less. Xion would be third because she is friends with Roxas. That is all I know about it so far. Often you see Axel, Roxas and Demyx together as if they are friends on websites and merchanise like plushies for example, including youtube videos that are foreign.

 

i don't recall any official evidence that shows Axel and Demyx were close. they are often merchendised together because Demyx is a very popular character in the organization. that and Yaoi girls like to pair them together. Axel says Roxas was the only one he liked and obviously Xion is left out of the picture in KH2 so i'm going to go ahead and assume Axel and Demyx also weren't close. Xion's connections with Axel will be explained in the game. heck it's possable that Axel doesn't like her but the three are just bridged together by Roxas. only time will tell

 

The only thing I can think of is mabe some one erased their memorys.

 

Roxas, Axel, and Demyx are the fandom's trio. Which I like to call RAD, and I am a fond of. But that's all there is to it. In the Novels, it does show Demyx that he can't believe that Axel defected, and sort of cares compared to the rest. And it was the same thing with Roxas. So, there's no doubt they interacted enough for there to be a connection. However, I don't think it was that tight as the fandom places it. Xion doesn't make sense in herself, and I have done my share of complaining about that, so I digress. I don't consider her anything to them in the end. At least when Roxas's memories were fogged and messed with, he remember Axel, his best friend. She doesn't fit into the equation. Many plotholes, but whatever. Nothing new on that account when it comes to dear Nomura. I'm just going to ignore it, and call bull. But that wont change the plot line, so...

As for the topic, Axel's only friend is Roxas. And forever will be Roxas if there's a choice. Heck, you don't see Axel fighting the kid in the trailers, do you?

 

As two people already said in here, it could be that memories were erased, but it's possible that Axel and Roxas were just close friends. Xion could've said something that Axel didn't really like. I have no idea, but we shall find out. xD

 

I particulary agree with Mike's second opinion. Did you see the cutscene in Days where Axel's really mad at Xion for some reason?

 

I would guess Axel would get sick of bringing her sorry butt back to the castle each time in cut scenes. He keeps mentioning bringing her back and ends up fighting her like twice. Even in front of Roxas. Memories being erased seems like the best thing that would make sense. I can even guess who is the one who does it....but I won't say it hear.

 

haha. there's only one person we know who can greatly affect memories like that. XD

 

Maybe Axel hates Xion...
