Been on sorta a superhero high of late. Been watching some tut's on the youtube. I found that I learn better by watching and hearing what someone says rather than reading instructions. Any who, I have made a couple of things here recently, some of them sigs, some not. Wanted to know what you guys think about them.

    CnC!

    Venom and Carnage

This one was just a play around with some different stuff.

    Spider-Man

This one I followed a tut on how to smudge. I like the way it came out.

    Shadowcat

This was me trying to follow a tut on dispersion. I got the dispersion part down, but I don't think it went well with the image I chose.

    Nightcrawler

This one is me using some of the stuff I have learned recently and just doing some playing around

    My avengers team

Nothing really fancy here. This is a little makeshift team I made up for me and my friends using there favorite hero's that go with there gender.

May I use Venom and carnage as a sig? I love it

These are all good, but the Spiderman one and the Avengers Team look streched.

Oooh! You have really improved Soap! Well done, these are fabulous- keep it up with the tutorials.

    Venom and Carnage
I really like the dark colours here coupled with the reds and purples. I like the effects you've done on these so keep it up. However, my main concern is just attmepting to blend the two pictures into each other a bit more as you can see the line where they join and it does also seem a bit too dark but this could easily be fixed by adding some lighting coming in from the left. Apart from that I'm really liking the background and the stocks themselves are of high quality.

    Spider man
You've picked up the art of smudging well my friend and used it on a good picture. My main concern is don't over smudge, it means it's focal point is his upper chest when it should be his head. To fix this is easy, just don't do any smudging around the area you want the eye to be drawn to. It seems blended too much into the background. Blend bits that are in the background more (like his butt and feet and hands) but leave the bits that are more forward (like his head. chest, knees etc.) unblended in so it gives the sig depth. Keep practising smudging, you are doing well, also experiment with different brush settings as it can make a huge difference.

    Shadowcat
I really really like this one, I think the picture worked really well! Yes, really xD. I love that effect and I think it worked well because of her stance and the type of cartoony style just adds to the overall effect. All I can say is keep practising with this, it's a lovely effect when used correctly.

    Nightcrawler
I have never been a huge fan of centre placement, I much prefer it when it's off to one side so that's the main thing with this. Also, with the smudging I would either make it all go outwards of give it one direction to flow in, the background has some lines that contradict this and it just looks a bit messy. However, the colours are nice in this one. I would also play around a bit more with different opacity styles (I don't know their proper name but it's that drop down list of things like soft light, hard light, vivid light, overlay etc.) as well as their percentages as it can make a huge difference.

    The Avergers team
This one is quite simple, my main concern is that the pictures do look quitesquashed as Ventus said and it probably would have been better to make the whole piece bigger of to not include the entire picture. You could also play around with more effects on this one like gradient maps and other general picture improvement methods (like photo filters, brightness and broadcast etc.). Also, you should also play around with text and which fonts work best and making them stand out or blend in etc.

Well done Soap! I look forward to seeing more of your work!

Mrrrow, I love your Kitty Pryde. You should work with more X-Men stock...
