So I auditioned for my school show the other day and I just found out I've got a callback for a main role! I'm really excited about this, but the only problem is that unlike in the open auditions, where the song is picked for you from the show, for the role auditions you must pick your own song. And not just one from the show (which is Guys and Dolls by the way) but any song...ever. I'm a bit stumped though! They said to pick a song that would show our range, and mine is a fairly average to high female soprano. Any Ideas and tips would be greatly appreciated :)
