I plan on watching it next week after all 25 episodes are out. I've heard it's good, but that's pretty much it. I've kept away from spoilers and I'm going in with no expectations. Before I plan on doing this though, I must ask. Is it worth watching?

I've been seeing this all over my tumblr dash & have considered checking it out. Hearing that it's only 25 episodes makes it a lot more appealing... I've been trying to get into One Piece again, I felt really proud of myself for finishing season one only to realize that there's like 10+ more lol.

No. Read it and listen to the soundtrack while you're reading it.

Just started today myself. Only watched two episodes as other stuff got in the way. Seems pretty good so far. Hear the first five episodes are a little slow but gets better afterwards.

25 episodes that will leave you with a huge cliffhanger lol. I don't know how they plan on ending it but I assume there'll be a season 2. I hope.
    Still worth watching, I say.
EDIT: Or read it, like Juki suggested. The anime follows the manga to the dot, so yea. They've added really tiny little tidbits, but not much at all.

Dude, this anime is one of those kickass animes like Death Note or Code Geass. Everyone loves the **** out of the anime, as do I now. It has everything; sadness, joy, fangasms, ****ing spider-man action.

    You'll like it I bet.

Not sure how to speak of the anime to others since Im in the latest episode and have become addicted (24), but I've enjoyed it. I didn't think I'd be into anime again, but damn it, the internet just had to explode with AoT. There are reviews and everyone's digging it, so that has to be a good sign.

    Yep, there'll be a season 2.

    Only season 1?
If you wish to continue, all I can say is good luck. X_X
If you ever need any advice on which episodes to skip, feel free to ask because filler is abundant in this series.

I've actually tried it before with another manga...

I can deal with a slow start, I mean I'm a fan of One Piece and that show takes 30-50 eps, depending on which arc hooks you, to get started. XD

    A cliffhanger...not a fan of those...
Meh, no big deal to me.
If they confirm a second season great but if not I'll probably switch to the manga.[DOUBLEPOST=1379831431][/DOUBLEPOST]
I liked Code Geass and Death Note...well at least the first 25 eps...
Who knows, maybe I'll like this show.

Why twice comment? Also, I only tell you this because the anime actually changes the order of events, which is important given the writing style, and has a rather important plot point messed up due to a continuity error.

I actually don't know, I thought I deleted one of those while making corrections to my post.

I would say that it is an okay show. Great animation, good characters, and some of the scenes actually got me. After watching episode 22, I can call myself a fan of the show. The human element was really brought out there.

I tried doing this around the time I started watching a lot of anime, starting around 2006 and 2007. I mainly stuck with shonen manga, I tried it with Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, and even Dragon Ball. Found it a hassle to switch between sound tracks so I pretty much dropped the idea soon after I tried it.

Oh, I just meant listen to it all the way through. Not because the music fits or anything, but because it's a decent soundtrack and is well worth a listen.

Maybe this show will kick start the anime fan in me. Besides the weekly One Piece episodes and anime news, I've pretty much stopped watching anime.

Honestly, don't bet on it. It's far from the best thing that's come out this year.

Ah, I was an idiot back then, still am now but at least I'm smarterer to know it.

In all seriousness, I'll wait for the show to hear the soundtrack.
Don't want to ruin the show for myself.

Yeah, it's around where I got in the manga as well. I think both times I just got to the Arlong Park arc, bawled my eyes out, and then decided that nothing could ever top it & quit. Although people have told me Robin's story is pretty tragic too, but I just love Bellemere.
