... And how many game to movie adaptations have been done well? I personally think it's gonna be a massive flop, fail and cause the series to become much less popular.
Or it could be done well and cause it to be more popular. Ubisoft is working closely with the film as well. Look at how Prince of Persia turned out also, that film was great.
Here is my issue with it. We have six studios making the game and one making the movie. Now I get a couple of factors here, 1) the game models are HD so the movie doesn't need to make their own, 2) with it not being a game all the game mechanic development is unneeded. But even so the difference in team sizes is just too much if you ask me. It's kind of asking for failure. High Hopes. Low Expectations.
They never said it would be live action now did they? It could be seriously epic like one of the final fantasy movies! Don't judge so harshly before enough info is released.
