I'm liking the new gameplay mechanics. Going into buildings, the assassinations, new environment looks awesome. I'm still not happy with the new direction on how the story is going but I will get over it.
Why aren't you happy with it? Anyways, this was a disappointing trailer since pretty much all the action was done in slow-mo. I'm really excited for the game but I was expecting more out of a gameplay trailer. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer before anything with some real substance comes out.
It's how it jumps from one side of the world all the way to the civil war era of America. I guess I'm just use to playing in all the other countries and that time era.
People just don't like America, and that's all it comes down to. Plain and simple. People were okay with Israel, they were okay with Italy, they were okay with the Ottoman Empire, but now that's it's in America, people just can't stand Assassin's Creed all of a sudden. He's not even taking sides, and he'll just have to work for the Americans like Ezio worked for the Italians.
I find it more the fact that I am sick of being in games that are in America. Even more sick of the fact they always seems to be in the same places fukin New York!!! with the same general topic of liberty and freedom which America seems to act like they invented it. But concerning the vid, it looked very good and Assassin's Creed-y in style. I like Conor, he's a man of conflict with no set place but ideals that he fights for. It did seem incredibly familiar though, it didn't feel like a great leap from previous games, but maybe the more i'll see of it, the better. Want to see an actual proper gameplay without the sparkling effects before I say yay or nay.
yeah, this series stopped making sense to me. the trailer proved that. even though the gameplay looks cool, it went down hill when they did assassin's creed 2.
Just gonna leave this here: Probably the best interview for this game... ever. Of all time.
