I know that some artists don't like Guitar Hero and don't like giving their music to it because they like kids learning to play the real guitar, but in your opinion, which songs should have been in Guitar Hero or Rock Band by now?

In my opinion, Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath, Money for Nothing by Dire Straits, Man on the Silver Mountain by Rainbow, and any song by Dio should have use at least once.

Well, I haven't played either game in awhile so I'm not sure if these songs have been included but...

Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin
Babe I'm Gonna Leave You by Led Zeppelin
Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana(It would've been easy but it's still fun. 8D)
...Well...yeah, that's all I've got. I'd be happy with just Stairway to Heaven, but I'd prefer a "live version" of it on the game. Some recordings I've seen just kick so much ass. :=D:

EDIT: Oh yeah! And maybe some stuff by Eric Clapton.

Personally I'd have killed to see some Lordi or Nightwish on there, but that's just me. I've always wanted to see what Would You Love a Monsterman would be like on either game.

It's kinda never gonna happen unless in a Japanese version but I think a few of Gackt's rock songs or The Back Horn songs would do lovely in GH or even RB. Like the song from Casshern the movie, that had some sweet heavy guitar.

Gackt is actually quite possible for the Japanese version of Rock Band as the Japanese version is redoing/redid the playlist for music that's big in Japan, but, as I have yet to find the Japanese set list, I don't know for sure.

As for artists I want to see included, there are quite a few. From their inclusion as a bonus track in Rock Band 2, I wan't to see more X Japan (Galneryus would be great too, but they're underground everywhere that isn't Japan and semi-underground in Japan anyway). Power metal is seriously missing any sort of representation (there is Malmsteen, but he represents neo-classical metal far more than power metal), so Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, Helloween and Blind Guardian would be ideal additions. Neue Deutsch Harte is missing as well. Guitar Hero 5 may have Rammstein, but what about other major NDH bands like Eisbrecher or Megaherz?

    Avril Lavigne- Girlfriend :3
I can't be the only one who turned the volume up and sang along whenever it came on while playing Burnout Paradise. Of course, there was nobody in my house when I did this :>

oh yea, and some Matt & Kim would be very nice but doubtful to come.

I'd prefer these guys be in Rock Band, but anyway:

    Red
    10 Years
    Skillet

I believe that was DLC for Guitar Hero II or III

    It was III.

Anywho, got some more just say if they're already in something.

    Stan Bush - The Touch
Transformers: The Movie - Nothings Gonna Stand in Our Way
And not sure if they're already in there but some stuff from Ash wouldn't be too bad (probably better in RB, Meltdown would be awesome in RB if it's not already in there).

The Touch is available for Wii Points in World Tour, but as for the others definite yes.
Dunno if it's been mentioned, but I've wanted to play a non-fan version of Three Days Grace's Riot. Also needs more Red, Rise Against (there are much better songs than Re-Education), Lostprophets, and maybe Nightwish.

Would be cool if they made an international GH/RB, with songs mainly from non-US countries.

Yeah, GH/RB could do with more non-English songs and vice versa for any other places the game is in. GOTTA SHARE THE MUSICAL LOVE.

Rock Band has Give It All on-disk and Prayer of the Refugee, Re-Education, and Savior for DLC
Guitar Hero has Ready to Fall, Audience of One, and Death Blossoms for DLC

Though I'd like if their older stuff was released too, I am pleased with the amount of RA in the games. Can't be too greedy.

    Guitar Hero has Rooftops

They need to release stuff from their first 2 albums, where they sounded their best.

I know there's already two songs but there needs to be more Dream Theater.
It's the only dlc i'd buy at this point. I spent already too much on rb dlc.
