Course registration for university opens up tomorrow... yet somehow some of the courses I want ALREADY have wait lists. I want my class on game design :(
Some students get to register at different times, at least that's how it was at my school. Classes that were a big requirement for certain majors, but open to anyone let the students in the major register first, if they wanted the class. Then upperclassmen and certain colleges were able to register for their classes earlier than others.
I was going to say pretty much the exact same thing. A lot of schools allow upperclassmen or students that reach a certain credit level to register for classes earlier than everyone else; so even though your registration hasn't started yet, that's probably the likely reason as to why the class already has a Waiting List. Others that are allowed to pre - register have already signed up for it.
