This is my band... We're no where near being big and I needed to get our stuff out somehow.... So why not KHV?

We're a metalcore/ melodicore band that has a few songs up. We're in the recording process of an EP right now, titled "Somewhere Between Safe And Sorry". We'll have better recordings up soon.

Tell me what you guys think. =D

I can't say that I like it, because I don't. And personally that doesn't sound much like metalcore to me. More of a deathcore feel.

You might wanna work on your harsh vocals and clean vocals as well. The harsh vocals I guess will get better with time, but the clean singing may or may not. Working on those would be an improvement. Your "Lightning Strikes Twice Here" song seemed pretty melodic (The keyboard, I presume, helped). Making the guitar riffs and keyboard/synth/whatever flow are the ways to successful songs! Catchy riffs are nice as well. o:

And a guitar solo would certainly improve any song...Well just about any metal song. But who says you can't have some in metalcore? Most metalcore bands don't have solos, they have their breakdowns; If you do a solo, I would try to make a catchy one that flows somewhat with the song. Unlike a Dream Theater solo, which doesn't fit in with the overall sound of their songs at all (they're still amazing though). But that is your choice.

..Now I'm trying to convert your band into a full-on metal band. And that was more of a review. xD But yea, that's what I thought.

One more thing: hello fellow North Carolinian.
