Digital Art Apollo Justice

So I never understood the hate for Apollo, I think he's an awesome character so I made this just to show my love for him <3. I loved Apollo so much I would go as far as to say I enjoyed playing as him more than Phoenix. I'm excited to play as him again in Ace Attorney 5!

It's because what seems to be the majority of the Ace Attorney fanbase are a bunch of whiners who hate change.


Anyways, I also loved Apollo. Definitely one of my favorite characters in Ace Attorney.

 

The AA fanbase had three games starring Phoenix, and for Capcom to just push him aside for a newbie seemed ridiculous to some. I'll admit Apollo's game itself wasn't my favorite (I liked how the cases connected, I just didn't like a few of them), but I absolutely adored the characters involved -- they were just as eccentric as in past games, and the way they incorporated Phoenix into it all actually felt pretty natural -- and despite the fact that I hadn't played Justice for All or Trials and Tribulations, I enjoyed the overall experience.

But this isn't just about character preference in a great series, is it? This piece is alright, but having three renders of the same guy and two quotes takes focus away from the main point of the piece -- the middle render of Apollo -- and the eyes wander around. Apart from that, I feel like the renders you stuck in the back might've made for a better focal point (personally, I would've made the one with him pointing out the main render). While texture in the background is interesting and I like the quotes, it's just very busy. With some tweaking, I feel like you could turn this into something even greater.
