If so, can I steal your Friend Code so that I may increase the population of my village? I need more people so I can build stuff faster, and I'm relying on a random number every 24 hours from the save guy.

Well, that might be, but you might also have a population limit. I'm only at 11, and when you connect to the internet, you have the option to get villagers from your friends list if they're able. Oh, and you might need this: 3711-8697-7783
It doesn't take long to get more than enough from the random generator. The effect each village has diminishes drastically for each consecutive one. On another note, once you get the Salve Maker job Norende village... kinda breaks the game
The game is already broken when you can fight enough monsters to kill any boss you come across in 1 or 2 turns. I'm overleveled and it's only the 2nd chapter
Gets pretty intense later on. By chapter three it's pretty common for bosses to have attacks that will KO a party member even if they're insanely over leveled (one boss in chapter 3 has an attack that it guaranteed to deal 9999 damage once you take off 1/6 of his health)
Don't play it, but a lot of people are telling me to. I only have the demo and so far I'm not that impressed. Should I get it?
I would get it if I were you. The demo does seem a little boring, but that's just because there's nothing interesting to it. When you get the game you can actually play the story, and listen to the nice music, as well as use all the jobs instead of the few they give you in the demo.
