Square-Enix Anyone ever notice? (FFVII Northern Crater FMV)

Just as I was watching the scene where Cloud gives Sephiroth the Black Materia, I noticed something I didn't before....Seph's missing his lower half! I wonder why.... I mean, it's not like Cloud sliced him in half as he fell into the Mako mass or something...I think?

Feh but who cares! What's left of him is practically naked! x) *brick'd*

 

I don't know about the Cloud slicing him in half thing. I just know that Zack stabbed Sephiroth with his humongous Buster sword. Is this correct? I haven't watched Last Order: FFVII in a while...

And yeah, I noticed his body was missing the lower half. That explains his appearance as Safer Sephiroth (the huge four wings replacing his legs).

 

Zack fought Sephiroth in Last Order but Cloud is the one that stabbed him

 

It's most likely because since Sephiroth was travelling through the Lifestream he probably got all battered and lost his clothes, since Square didn't feel like they wanted to render male genatalia they decided not to include his lower half.

hehe, I'm suuuch a perv...maybe his clothes "burned off" when he fell into the Mako or something? But that doesn't explain how his skin is still intact....let alone his upper half xD

 

Oh yeah! I never really took notice D: I think chopping off Seph's bottom half was a poor excuse to hide Sephiroth's explosively big 'ahem ahem', like Revan said u_u;;;

I guess that's one thing Nomura hasn't quite cleared up.....and yes it does explain his appearance in his Safer *coughSavior!cough* form...

 

I thought that too...Hmm..I guess I really don't understand but that's what I thought!

 

Actually, according to what I saw on Youtube. Zack DID stab Sephiroth but not much else....well I guess that explains why Hojo said something about Seph missing his lower half @ the Northern Crater~

 

Sephiroth's lower half wasn't shown but for hair being around him because of the censorship deal. I don't think he was missing his lower half. Cloud in the scene is kind of upside down and the screen turns around to just show his upper half and the crystal was shoved into the ceiling so I'm pretty sure he was complete probably. When Cloud stabbed Sephiroth it was through the back to his upper abdomen...so I don't know if really Sephiroth was -missing- his lower half because the hair on him went over lower than his waist. Suppose I'll have to watch the scene again now to see if it's actually missing or not just that the crystal with Sephiroth was upside down and the lower half wasn't in the ceiling.
