Anyone else hear the rumors about Pokemon having a new main character?

Supposedly from rumors spreading say its going to be either Gold or Hubert.

Anyway, I haven't heard, but seems unlikely. The Anime makers are cheap, and use Ash as a money maker.

And I think kids are getting tired of Ash and that's why they might be trashing him. I hope its true.

 

if pokemon were actually a decent show with proper character development, rather than leaving the main character the same for all this time, there would be no need for a new main character.

 

Exactly, but they may figure if they restart it will be better. I would rather Gold than Hilbert because Gold beats Red at a point.

 

But Gold was the main character of Pokemon Chronicles along with Crystal. They were named Jimmy and Marina. Silver also appeared at one point.

 

Good point, but I said rather than Hilbert. I would like Gen 4 or 3 as the main this time rather.

 

Why? I'd prefer Nate and Rosa from B2/W2.

If it's true, it should be Hilbert. He's the best MC design, and Gold is the absolute worst.

If I like the Japanese names better I do. I call Lyra "Kotone" sometimes.

 

I pick and choose the name depending on which one I like better. In this case, I like Mei better.
