Gah! My gaming collection is starting to get dry.. Apart from me buying KHII:FM+ recently and FFXII in November, the last game I bought was DMC3.. and that was at the start of 2006 or something.. O_O!! Soo, basically can any of you point me in the direction of some good titles that you own or have played before.. I need some new stuff for 'boredom' days ¬_¬ Bear in mind I LOVE my dark, deep, gory games >:] I'm quite morbid so I need blood and violence, etc to keep me insane. I'd like to try out some new Fighting/Sport/Shooters. Those are my favourite kind of games. <_>
Damnit! I should've been more clear.. Well, any of the above kind of games I said I like, but for the PS2.
Well, if you don't mind hacking and slashing enemies and some good hitorical fiction on Japan's history, Samurai Warriors is a good game. You can even play it with the original Japanese voices! SWII is also good, no japanese but the english script is pretty funny. Give it a try ^^
Okay. Here are some games that i've played and some games i like. The Getaway The Getaway - Black monday Resident Evil 4 Dark Chronicle (It's a cell shaded rp game if you don't know it. It has no blood, though it was rated +12 for bad language. "Stupid" and things like that. Many hours, great plot and really funny.) Canis Canem Edit GTA San Adreas Burnout Revenge Black Call of duty 3 God of war 1 and 2 Yakuza Scarface Project zero 3: The tormented Hitman: Blood money Hope it helps.
If you like a good button masher fighting game: I'd say pick up any of the Tekken games. Tekken 3 would be a good one to start out with since it picks up a storyline from there.
The God of War series is magnificent, and most likely one of the top 5 series ever on the PS2. I suggest both the first and second games to add to your gaming repitiore. Also, I suggest the Prince of Persia series. Although the first game is rather old, it is a masterpiece.
I haven't played either one of these games, but I agree with the God of War and Prince of Persia recommendations. Both series look very good. Uhhh... Star Fox Adventures! XD
The Metal Gear Solid series. Awesome series though I think it requires a bit of patience and planning.
LOCOROCO! The game is like...cute cartoony singing crack. You start playing and it just...sucks you in. oo;
Let me see, This game freak recommends The God of War serious also, the only reason not to play this game is to say your squeamish.
if you like fighters go and buy soul calibur 2 or 3. That is some insane action fighting everything in site.
Ahh! I actually wanted that Shining Force EXA game anyways ^-^ I seen it advertised on quite a lot of sites and it looks pretty damn good. Infact, I'm gonna check GAME's website to see if it's out here yet =/ And thanks everyone else for the suggestions ;) I already own some of the games you mentioned like Prince of Persia, Hitman: Blood Money, Dark Chronicle, Guitar Hero, etc.. But another I'll need to try is that God of War. It must be good since everyone everywhere seems to talk about it XD EDIT: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Shining Force has just come out in the US D: It isn't even listed on our game websites yet! If it did come out here, it probably wouldn't be until the end of 2007/early 2008 ¬_¬
awwwww :( xD Dude if you want a gory/morbid game......Resident Evil 4 and God of War 1 & 2 are your best bets. RE4 basically because it's got a great story and awesome intense gameplay. And the GOW series because like Cinny said they're just amazingly magnificent games and definently both on the top 5 ps2 games of all time. But get/play the first before the second or else you'll be like "WTF o.O"
Metal Gear Solid is uber ace! Soul Calibur rocks! Though I will admit that one of my favourite games is the Ratchet and Clank series! Mock me if you will but it's addictive sorry it's not gory though, but I think it's cool! :D The Getaway(the first and Black Monday) and GTA (Grand Theft Auto, Vice City or San Andreas are the best) are pretty damn cool too! :D xx
