    The pain from the shot moved from the arm area to my armpit, and it hurts whenever I move my arm. Also, if I touch the area where the needle went in, I can still feel the sting.

    Edit: Just for clarification, I got the TDAB (or whatever it's called) shot that contains medicine for Tetanus, pertussis, and dipho-something.

    I recommend pouring cough syrup over the wound. Be sure to leave it on for at least three minutes before rinsing, or the sedative won't take effect.

    I don't have a wound, so I'm not sure what the whole syrup thing is about. My arm is just sore.

    It's meant to be a sedative, so just put it where it hurts.

    I thought they injected you with something? Pour it over the injection spot.

    Well, I wouldn't really call that a wound. Anyway, as long as I don't press there, it doesn't hurt, but the general soreness / pain is in my armpit.

    Not sure what to make of it if the pain is in your armpit.
    If there is a severe pain in your shoulder/upper arm, I would get it checked, as it may be a reaction that could cause brachial neuritis. (Syndrome that starts with pain excruciating pain followed by paralysis)

    Other symptoms which you should ask your doctor about include;
    Swelling, tingling, paralysis, fever, or any allergic reaction. (Rach, hives, itching, wheezing)

    Again, I'm not sure what to make of the armpit. If it doesn't cause pain while being untouched, It may just be recovering.

    I'm pretty sure I'm fine. The pain definitely isn't as bad as it was yesterday, when it was more in my shoulder. Right now, it's sore and hurts when I move it.

    Part of it may be my fault because I've been protecting it all day today.

    I know that one time last year (junior year), I had hurt my leg or ankle (can't remember which) and was walking on the side of one of my feet, which made it worse, and one of my friends just told me to walk normally.

    How long ago did you get it? I know when I last got my tetanus booster I was sore and tender for a few days, but only two. Still, couldn't even raise my arm very high without feeling a pulling sensation.

    If it's been more than a week, yeah, I would call the doc. Remember thought that the TDAb or whateveryacallitnow is intramuscular, so they had to stick you way in the muscle to make sure the vaccine was delivered correctly. It's normal to feel tender for a it of time.

    It's been getting better each day. It's only sore now when I move it, but it's not too bad, and I can move my arm normally.

    EDIT: This can be closed. It's been completely gone since Friday.
