  1. We all know that antimatter was created by scientists right? Well if you did'nt you do now. But my question is... Do you ever think it could be used as a power source?

Personally I do not believe it willl be as I do not think we will sever have the means to stop it from annihalating. Furthermore how will we be able get enough antimatter aas if we make too much we risk destryoing the entire planet. Thus we are limited to the amount we can use furthermore, we will need to slow down the antimatter in an antiprotondecelarator. Now, this will also destroy alot of the antimatter. Therefore we will not have much left to use for energy. Plus how would we get the perfect magnetic field in which to hold it?

for more information about antimatter follow this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antimatter

For all the complications, I have found that antimatter could be a very good energy source if we ever did find a means to use it. However, it seems to me that antimatter would end up being a much better WEAPON then anything else.

yup, my thoughts exactly. if we started using that stuff, we'd have a load of Metal Gears running around!

  4. yea it would make a really good weapon. If like you could get it to wherever you need it.

Actually, I used the weapon theory for antimatter when I was writing KHVR3.

My theory is that if we could make an anti-gravity chamber and store even an inch by inch piece of antimatter, then drop it from a high enough distance, the anti matter could actually destroy a large city.

I'm almost certain that my theory is not accurate at all, to be honest I haven't studied this subject very much, however I do know that antimatter will at some point become a wmd, simply becuase the possiblities are to limitless to not take a chance.

  6. yes. That would be possible if they could get the right anti-magnetic/magnetic field. I remember reading a book where antimatter was used to try and enforce christianity. But in the end the pope his camerlengo and the 4 top cardinals got killed.

You're probably referring to Dan Brown's Angels and Demons.

  8. yes I am referring to that book. Go illuminati

Anti matter? How can you be AGAINST anti matter? I don't know if you realize this, but Anti matter is what will get us to our second Earth; called Earth 2 by scientists.

Without anti matter, we will all die. And if we'll die anyway, then why should it matter if we use anti matter or not? I think we should use it. 1 ML of anti matter can fuel New York. Tell me that's not conservative. XD

On another note; Anti matter is a good source to use for weaponry as well. However I don't think we need that for such a use. It'd be better to use it for long distance space travel, IMO.
