Kingdom Hearts II Annoying?

This is more of a general question than just about KH2 so it might not belong here but does anyone else find Donald and Goofy annoying sometimes, i like when you play as Roxas because he doesn't have anyone following him around and don't get me wrong i like the way Sora Donald and Goofy are the heros in the games but sometimes i just like it to be Sora on his own, like when he has to fight the 1,000 hearless alone

 

Yeah, Donald & Goofy can be annoying at times, and i'll usually go Final Form just to get shot of them. XD

I wish there was more Sora alone time... ;P

 

Yeah, me too. I loved the 1,000 Heartless battle, although it was a bit easy.. But playing with just Sora, becomes more exciting and a little bit harder...
I especially found it annoying when Donald or Goofy got k.o., and come back to the fight just to get k.o. again after 1 or 2 seconds....

 

Yeah! that was soooo annoying. It happened a lot when i would fight Saïx or Xaldin. I wish i could've killed them myself at times or at least have an option for them to just lay there. :P

Although there have been times when i've needed them & they just die on me.

 

I agree, i like it just being Sora sometimes, there isn't enough of that

 

I find Donald and Goofy to be extremely awkward characters as well. If I ever needed sidekicks of my own, I personally would rather not have duck and dog boy by my side.

 

Donald and Goofy are the best teammates Sora could have. But in order Sora to be the strongest character in the game Square makes Donald and Goofy too weak. You have to admit though that they are way better in the second game though in my opinion Goofy was more aggresive in the first. As for Donald, he has saved me many times.

I hope in a next game we get to see Donald and Goofy fighting better and even beating highest rank enemies like bosses. Anyway, i was never annoyed by their presence. In fact, i enjoy it because i can use the Trinity limit. Oh, and i was very surprised when Goofy passed out at Hollow Bastion.

 

I don't mind them being there for battles but do they have to follow Sora all the time it is just nice being alone, you should be able to hide them or something, i do like the occasional battle without them aswell but there have been times im very glad they are there, they just bug me sometimes.

 

For the most part, I ignore their existence. 9_9;; It's just in big bad battles when I really need them to give me a potion and they give them to each other and ignore Sora that I start cursing at them. Colorfully, might I add.

 

That's sad. That has happened to me so many times, that's why I never give them a potion, I keep them all to myself.

 

i only like donald for healing and Goofy for his Knocksmash attack

 

Yeah, Donald was my healer in boss fights, Goofy was a decoy.

 

they sometimes do get annoying for me. donald comes in handy with the healing, and goofy's team moves are really good.

 

I don't think they're annoying, but I do think The Beast is annoying. God I hate when he gets in front of you and you can't see anything. (referring to KH1 more than KH2)

 

Decoy ehh? Harsh poor Goofy is basicly a Human...Dog sheild

 

yea.. sometimes they are annoying.. but i will use them just for healing purpose..XDD

 

If you don't want anyone following Sora around use Cheats, if you have a cheating device, but Donald and Goofy are more powerful in story terms, in gameplay they make them weak because Sora is the main character, in Kingdom Hearts 2 they are one level ahead of Sora while in Kingdom Hearts Donald has the lowest level.

 

Although I thought they were both really annoying, I always thought Goofy > Donald.

 

Meat sheilds are all they are.....meat sheilds XD though they have healing uses...but...meat sheilds.... the world characters have some use :D i just give em healing items and potions, and put them on sora attack, they're just right then XD

 

Yeah, they get annoying. I never find any use for them, except for Donald constantly curing me. But even that gets annoying.
