Ann Coulter and the Insultius Conservatis

To those of you who don't know who she is...

Is Ann Coulter competent? Should she get away with her slurrs and hatred? I mean, I know there's the 1st Ammendent, but "Many readers find her shrill, bombastic and mean-spirited. And those are the words used by readers who identified themselves as conservatives."

Me? Well, being Democrat, I don't really think she's very good. Calling liberals "Godless (even though I AM atheist, but that's besides the point...)"

 

The woman is an all out ****** bag at times. There's no debating that. But I can understand why some of her stuff can be considered funny.

 

In the end it's your decision to agree or not to.

Or maybe I have to have a personal attack made against me in the fashion that Ann does before I can really give a ****, but in all honesty, I've let out a few laughs from several things she's written.

 

I like her. She's funny and her book "Godless" was a good read. Though a few things she has said have made me raise my eyebrow, I know alot of lefties who have said much worse.

 

Godless stated the liberalism was a religion, which I can assure you, it isn't. It claimed that all liberals are atheist, which is untrue (despite me being atheist).

I can admit that there may be liberals who are worse, but I've never heard of any. Any examples?

 

Plenty. Rosie 'O' Donnell, Maureen Dowd, and if I tried to name them all, I'd be here for ages.

I know She can be a bit extreme, but She has never claimed to be fair and balanced. Unlike a lot of prominent liberals who have repeatedly and failed to be that.

 

Granted,there are quite a few nuts on both sides. However a "bit" extreme? She insulted the widowers of the men who died in 9/11! She claimed that liberals are all about lying and cheating (granted, hundreds do, but the same goes for all groups in anything)!
