anime con

So how many of u ever been to an anime covention ?
Im going to the Anime Expo in july and was wondering what to expect and what its like and such ^^ Thanks ^^

 

I haven't been to one yet, but many of my friends have. They say it's uber fun and usually huge. There's sometimes Yaoi (sp?) so if you don't like that, be prepared.
Oh, and if you're cosplaying, get ready to be GLOMPED. :glomp:

I second the glomping warning. I made the "mistake" as group-cosplaying as Axel with a Roxas, and got glomped so many times I had bruises by the end of the con.

But despite that, there's tons to do and it's a ton of fun.

 

I went to my first con, ConnectiCon, last year. I also plan on attending this year's as well.

From my experience I say they're loads of fun. So many interesting cosplayers to interact with and merchandise to purchase. You're sure to have a blast.

 

I've been to one in London.

Way to many Naruto and Bleach cosplayers for my liking, one wants more variety. I have a friend who loves cosplaying and well I tagged along. Was quite humorous seeing him getting worked up over a missing part of the costume.

It's alot of fun, though you will end up spending alot of money, I did. So many stalls and shops it's all so tempting. XD

 

I've been to 2 cons this far. There is a special con here in Austria which aires once every year in the summer, so me and my sis always go there^^
It's quite funny there and I love participating in or watching the AMV Contest <3

 

Been to a few. Namely Anime Boston, which was awesome. Hopefully I'm going this year. :3

 

It would be nice if the London Expo did AMV contests.
