I've been tempted to buy this since it seems like a nice community game, but i'm wonderin' if it's worth it.

    Thoughts?

I am a fan of Animal Crossing. It's a good game to play. I've played all of them except for the new one that has recently came out. It sounds like a great community game. With new features and with a same side on Wild World and GC. I'd buy it, from the looks of it, it has good graphics and new animals to join in the long life story. It's an all day game that keeps going whether your there or not. Depends if you want to keep playing this game for a long time. Year probably.

It's also compatible with the Wii speak which intrigues me. I've never played an Animal Crossin' game but i've always wanted to play the DS version.

The DS version is quite nice. I played the game an hour ago. At some times, there would be some slow downs, where the game would slow down for a few seconds. Playing on wii speak would sound nice, but to watch other videos and see if it's worth buying the wii speak. But buying the game would be fun o_o.

Personally for me it's a no. It's no different to any of the other games in the franchise, you can buy the same things (in-game) same things to do each day, same deby same everything. t's no different in any way to the DS or Gamecube version. If you really loved them then fair enough, but if you have played them before and only liked it there is no point getting it again.

Pretty much any Animal Crossing is worth the experience. Definitely pick it up if you need a game to play on long, boring days (much like a day when you'd be on KHV). Wild World or the GC game are my suggestions. I haven't played the new one, but I'm sure it's really good.

If you haven't played the AC games before, just pick one up and start playing. They're REALLY addicting.

The lag is what worries me. I've played SSBB, Mario Kart online n' they've suffered lag - mainly SSBB. I'd imagine the Wii speak would slow the game down quite a bit. I'll need to read some comments on that.

I've never any of these games so it's all new to me.

Is this ANY different at all from the Gamecube version as far as features goes or is it the same excep with chat and a city part?

Does it have Chuck on it? <3 He was my self-proclaimed boyfriend of the AC world. I always wrote him letters and sent him shirts. Haha.

Go ahead. I'm getting it in a few days.

I still play the DS version.

Pretty much, it is an extension of your life. Like the Sims, except you are the sim. Oh, and everything looks a tad like Dora the Explorer.

I'm not doing a very good job of convinicing you, am I?

    Bah. Try it!
