I cant really shake the feeling that they might have some importance in kingdom hearts...we can see them with four keyblades in kh2
    Starseeker
    Oathkeeper
    Oblivion
    Way To The Dawn

All three keyblades are keyblades gotten from really powerful people (yes Im saying kairi is powerful, but only because she had the ability to completely restore Sora's heart...) and they all have angel wings on their hilts oblivion has demon wings(...i think?)

Could this be important in the later story? I was thinking, "ooh oblivion and oathkeeper they might have angel wings because kairi and riku r special to sora but then starseeker came and sora hardly sees mickey at all throughout the game...and way to the dawn has a huge angel wing on its side"

Does anyone else think that this will be important later on...?

It's possibl. Maybe Oathkeeper and Oblivion will become the Fenrirs in KH3.

Its possible... but I doubt that angel wings and demon wings on the keyblade are important in the story...

i didnt mean ON the keyblade...well i sort of did...but what i really meant was, if those keyblades were meant to represent riku, kairi and mickey, why would angel wings be apart of that representation?

oh, you really might want to be more spacific the first time...

Its possible that they represent them but I dont think that thats what they were thinking of at the time they were making the keyblade's....

Well, I don't think their important later on, but I do think they kinda represent the weilder, like for example, Way To Dawn has two angel wings on it and two 'demon' or bat-like wings on it which kinda shows that Dawn is between light and darkness. Yeah.

Hmm. I don't know, I think Riku's keyblade has an angel wing because it represents that he is half of a demon, and half of an angel, in a way. Half of light, and dark.

I think the wings and feathers are on there for decoration... it makes the weapon look more divine.

I agree. The wings on the Way to the Dawn probably have some meanings behind them, like Riku's torn personality, but I think that's it. The others are just there for aesthetics.

    Btw, the Star Seeker does not have wings on it. I would know. -_-;

    No, look at this.

I think the hilt is designed like a shooting star, and what you think are wings are actually the tails of said shooting stars. Kinda like this.

    But I digress.

I still think that the wings on those Keyblades are just there for show, like how the demonic wings on Oblivion give it a darker feel.
