In Superman II, if Superman can magic kiss anyone's memories away, why is it that when Lois jumps into the rapids that Clark refuses to turn into Superman and save her and then just make her forget after? I'm pretty sure if you're Superman and you can make people forget whatever you want that keeping your identity a secret wouldn't be that big of a concern.
Then why would he kiss her in the first place? And speaking of damage, I'm not a scientist, but I'm fairly certain that by exposing Zod and the others to that red light that takes powers away, he's also exposing Lois and Luthor to heavy degrees of radiation. Can't kiss that away. But you can fly really fast and reverse the earth's rotation, thereby turning all of time backwards -- nvm problem solved.

Well he COULD use his heat vision to remove ta tumour anyways And he doesn't reverse time for everything, he moves himself backwards in time
Man, if only more people understood his character. And the evolution of the character. And the historical context of varying tones of the decades that inform his character.
Any character that can hold a super nova and resulting black hole inside their hands is a badly written super, imo.
But the point of his character isn't to see if he'll deal with the problem, except for specific enemies and situations that actually match his insane power, the point is the ramifications of having that much power in the first place
