Note: This looked like the right spot for this. If I'm wrong let me know.

I just started using a movie editor called Roxio (No, I didn't pick it for the name) and it works fine for a few of my vids but for most of them the "frame by frame" uses key frames instead of every frame. These key frames are about two seconds apart, so looking for a specific spot can be next to impossable. I'm not really asking for a way to fix this (I e-mailed tech support and they don't know), I'm more looking for someway to get arround it. This becomes harder still because my comp lags on video editors (though it runs everything else just fine) it's been known to take 5 sec+ to stop streaming again from play. anybody got ideas?

(Sorry in advance for the double post)

I figured out a way. I use WMM to make a baseline then i transfer the movie into Roxio to add in effects. Not perfect but until I can get my own computer with more RAM it will have to do.

I use Roxio 9, and I have the same problems. It lags like hell for me too, so just save your production every so often and fast edit in WMM.

Yay! My computer isn't as sucky as I thought. I use Roxio 9 too. Recently it told me update my video card. Usually that kind of stuff comes up at initial installation but that could be our problem. IDK. Even if it is my dad wouldn't let me put ina new one. Just have to keep saving to get my own. *sigh*

    Same here...exactly.

I'm using a computer from 1997, and it's slow as hell. I have had to use Vegas more since it runs better. >.>
