    Okay, before we begin, important stuff;
    DISCLAIMER
    This fantastic role-play was, unfortunately, not my own idea. All credit goes to "Valor" on a different Kingdom Hearts forum. I had watched this role-play because a friiend of mine was in it and I was not very happy when it died. So, here we are. I hope it has much better luck here.



    Long ago the world was at peace.
    The nations were separate and equal.
    Each land had a gathering of immortal knights who protected their loyal denizens.
    Tranquility and balance were all the world knew.
    Times change as seasons do. Hearts of men grow cold.
    A time of chaos ushered out the tranquility those lost long ago fought and sacrificed everything for.
    Now is a time of fear. The west has been recently settled, and there are none to watch over and protect it. Those once held in high esteem throughout the lay people of the world soon became the ones held accountable.
    The keyblade. A strange weapon whose power is said to be granted by the gods. Only a chosen few can be blessed with the ability to wield it. None are sure what the requirements are. It is only known that there are those who can wield it. And those who cannot.
    As turmoil grew in the West, the Blade thought crafted by gods instead is said to be cursed. Ruin and destruction, peace and prosperity. Two sides of the same coin. Both are results of the power of the Keyblade.
    Keyblade bearers have been hunted down and slaughtered. Killed by the dozens. Be they ancient, child, or newborn, none were spared if they were capable of wielding its might.
    One man stood up amidst this chaos, Raeneth Diachi, a man whose fortitude is the essential balance sought in the world. He declared that he would bring order back to the West. Bring civility back to the uncivilized. Create the Order the continent was thirsting for.

    [Where Do I Fit In?]​
    You are a student of the keyblade. Blessed, or cursed, with this power, you have been taken in by Raeneth and are residing at a temporary base within the continent of Reveria in a small town called Roblitz. There, the keyblade bearers of all of Reveria gather for safety from persecution.​
    Throughout this roleplay you will "level up" and rank up slowly as you complete more missions and work towards helping the world seek balance. You can start as a low rank and you CAN attain a high rank if you keep up with it.​
    [01 - Rules]

    1. No God Modding or Power Playing. You may Power Play low level NPC enemies or another character if you have received permission from that character's owner and myself.

    2. You may join and drop however often you like, but know that the roleplay will not wait for any one person.

    3. This role play is part story driven, but I wish it to be mostly character driven. Interactions and romance are allowed as long as it is tasteful. Anything explicit will have you removed from the roleplay and further forum-wide punishment may result.

    4. All posts must be in character. If you have something to say out of character, please use this thread.

    5. Once you are accepted your template is considered Final. If you wish to tweak things here or there you may only do so if you run it by me first or post it in this thread to await confirmation of the change.

    6. That said, do not go off template. I give a lot of leeway with character creation and you can go as in depth as you want. I will, however, hold you to my personal understanding of your character. My word is final. Not yours. That said, of course I am reasonable.

    7. This Roleplay WILL be moderately DM'd in combat situations to allow for fairness. I may be using dice rolls, and if so I will always post them in picture form in this thread. I will never re-roll. Rolling will be used mostly for chances to strike certain enemies. You will never have to roll for yourself, so just roleplay as you will.

    Please note some magicks have some pre-requisites you must meet to obtain it. You must decide which "flavor" you would like. You cannot have both forms.

    For offensive magic, Users get base levels, Apprentice get "ra", Knight get "ga". Yes, these are more powerful than what is listed here. They are essentially these effects but x2 and x3 in magnitude.

    In addition, you can select ANY ELEMENTAL SPELLS YOU WANT. However, those that align with your Primary and Secondary will be more powerful and useful.


    Fire - Burst of flames on a target/area or a fireball.

    Blizzard - Burst of frost on a target/area or a ball of ice that explodes into the former.

    Thunder - A directed bolt of thunder from a weapon or from above

    Aero - A directed blast of wind. Concussive or sharp.

    Quake - A directed shot of stone. Many pebbles or a chunk of stone

    Water - Burst of water on a target or a waterball

    Gravity - Apprentice - An orb of energy weighs down target. From above target, or directed from your person

    -All Dark spells erode health. Fired directionally from your person)
    Dark [Element] - 70+ Dark

    Crawling [Element] - Apprentice - Slow moving elemental magic that deals significant damage if it hits.

    Triple [Element] - Knight - Three bursts of your elemental magic.

    You may name your technique anything you wish. You must select an effect from the list that follows:

    Strike Raid Lv 1 - Throw your keyblade at a target and return it to your hand instantly

    Counter Lv. 1 - Block a physical strike with your weapon

    Dodge Roll Lv. 1 - Evade a physical strike by rolling away

    Disarm - Attempt to disarm an opponent

    Jump - Leap high into the air and come crashing back down

    Sonic Blade - Gain extreme speed for a split second to strike your foe

    Heavy Swing - Swing your keyblade in a wide arc to strike multiple targets

    Finishing Strike Lv. 1 - Abandon defense entirely to strike down an adversary with a powerful blow [Defense 2+]


    Strike Raid Lv. 2 - Throw your keyblade at multiple targets in quick succession

    Counter Lv. 2 - Block an opponent's attack and counter it instantly

    Dodge Roll Lv. 2 - Evade an opponent's attack by rolling, and counter it instantly

    Glide - Able to glide short distances

    Sonic Blade Lv. 2- Gain extreme speed to strike a foe three times in quick succession

    Elemental Raid Lv. 1 - Charge your keyblade with your Primary Element and fling it (must know the appropriate spell as well)

    Elemental Strike Lv. 1 - Charge your keyblade with your Primary element and deliver an attack charged with that element.

    Mage Masher - Use a sequence of accurate strikes to disable a magickal barrier and strike

    Finishing Strike Lv. 2 - Sacrifice defense in order to finish off a foe with a powerful strike [Defense 3+]

    Counter Lv. 3 - Parry an opponent's attack and simultaneously strike

    Dodge Roll Lv. 3 - Evade an opponent's attack and strike them simultaneously

    Elemental Raid Lv. 2 - Charge your keyblade with your Primary or Secondary element and fling it. [both elements allowed. One at a time]

    Elemental Strike Lv. 2 - Charge your keyblade with your Primary or Secondary element and deliver an attack charged with that element. [both elements allowed. One at a time]

    Flash Step - Close distance in a short period of time and break an opponent's guard with a strike from your keyblade [Agility 4+]

    Finishing Strike Lv. 3 - Throw caution to the wind and attempt to finish the foe in a single, mighty strike. [Chance for 1HK based on Luck. Only one chance/roll for 1HK per opponent]

    Elemental Resist - You are more resistant against three elements of your choice.

    Second Wind - Your Defense and Fortitude are maximized when in dire condition

    Dualwielder - You are able to use your Primary and Secondary Keyblades simultaneously (Apprentice+) [Cannot be used with Heavy or Potent Keyblades]

    Super Luck - [Luck 2+] Your Luck randomly maximizes

    Hunter - You are more able to exploit enemy weaknesses

    Magickal Potential - [Magick 3+/Accuracy 3+] - Able to fire bolts of non-elemental magic from the tip of your keyblade.

    Heart of Light - [Light Constitution] - You are much more reasonable and convincing to NPCs.

    Heart of Dark - [Dark Constitution] - Your emotional pleas are more able to sway NPCs.

    Conniving - [Agility 3+] - Any attempts at deceit or trickery are much more likely to work.

    Magick Gift - Able to give your magickal power to an ally at the cost of being unable to cast another spell that battle/day.

    Magick Haste - Every time a magickal attack lands, you recover a bit of your stamina, allowing for more casting.

    Gentle Heart - Restorative spells are much more effective

    Wizarding Heart - Offensive spells are much more effective

    Team Player - Support spells last one action/attack longer

    All for One - You work well with others

    Leadership - Able to bring out the best in others, and a calming voice on the battlefield

    Monkey Grip - Able to wield a Heavy or Potent class keyblade in a single hand. (Cannot be combined with Dualwielding)

    Courage - You find your Strength grow whenever you show off your bravery

    Skilled Sword - Your offensive strikes are lightning fast and deadly precise at short range.

    Appearance: Raeneth's usual attire consists of white plate armor with black trim. He has two shoulder guards on either side of his body, both black with white trim. His forearms are showing off his moderately tanned complexion. He wears high gloves with good grip that are mostly black. He also wears white/gray pants with black stripes up the side and high fitting black boots with white trim.

    As he searches for more Masters in Reveria, he wears a white cape with a silhouetted crest of the Order of the Western sky emblazoned on it.

    Personality: Raeneth's personality is all over the place at times. His keyblade, Alatariel, allows him to change the consistency of his Heart Element and shift the values as far as he deems fit at any time. Raeneth is a cool, confident leader, even though internally he struggles with feelings of inadequacy and helplessness. He is a confident fighter and doesn't think twice about taking the field to strike down those he opposes.

    Biography:
    Raeneth is the founder of the Order of the Western Sky. The first Keyblade Master born to Reveria since its original son left many years ago. He has decided to bring Reveria's rebellious citystates under rule and restore the good name of the Keyblade and the people who use it. He has been traversing the land gathering up anyone with the Talent that he could find, regardless of their moral ambiguity.

    Raeneth once was a knight of the capital city of Vel, located in the heart of Reveria. A member of the special forces there, his missions were to complete his objectives with stealth and silence. He is an expert swordsman from years of training and honing his skill, rising to the top of the elite force. It was discovered he could use the Keyblade at the height of civil panic in Reveria, and was detained and tortured in the subterranean city beneath Vel.

    There he had his Heart element forcibly altered by experiments attempting to turn him into a being of shadow - a Heartless. The experiment failed, however, when Raeneth Awoke and was gifted the blade dubbed Alatariel. His constitution shattered, and his heart in constant turmoil, Alatariel's innate power allows him to control the ebb and flow of Darkness and Light within his Heart, making him an exceptionally rare case and one of a kind.
