My mom got a tablet that she can use when she's having her chemo infusions at Virginia Mason so we don't have to share my laptop, which I set up for her. However, I have two questions: How do I set a homepage on the Silk browser? In this case, Facebook. Answered During setup, for now I chose not to have the device automatically upload photos or other related files to Amazon Cloud. Where would we go to enable it, though, if my mom changes her mind? I looked here, but it didn't really answer my questions.
Doesn't look like there's a way to set the homepage on the Silk browser. The Fire tablet runs android, so I would suggest installing a browser like Chrome.
Thank you. It likely is, but it can't hurt to check. :) I assume installing another browser—in this case, it will be Chrome—is the same as on a computer? Just go to the site on Silk and install it? Silk is the equivalent to Internet Explorer on Windows, the default browser on Windows machines, is what I gather. If anyone can answer the other question, that would be appreciated.
