Am i the only one?

I've always wanted to play as someone else (e.g. Riku, Roxas, Terra. ect.) and fight Sora. The reason for this is it would be a fun fight and because you never fight him throughout the entire series. The closest thing to this is the shadow Sora in Re:Coded but even that doesn't have entirely the same move set and its not the real Sora. Does anyone else feel similarly about this?

 

Well, you also fight the Shadow Sora in KH1. /nitpicky

But I guess it would be cool, though I'm not sure how much of a challenge it would be--Sora's more powerful moves rely upon party members (Trinity Limit, Drive Forms, really any Limit, etc). They could always give him some newer, snazzier moves in addition to the basic movesets we're used to.

A lot of people would really like a "Riku's Side" for KH1, and that includes fighting Sora, so I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. =]

Actually, I always wanted KH for a two players like game, one version like -1P moves Sora (2P press START button) and 2P moves Goofy; press L3 to switch to Donald, if 1P switch first, 2P can press L3 to Sora.-

But fighting Sora would be cool, especially with Riku's Side. And Riku's Side to KH Days and KHII too!

 

same sorta thing controlling heartless would be cool too.... though depending on the game Sora would change in difficulty wouldn't he?

 

Ah i forgot about the KH1 fight. Haven't played that game in forever.

I would be all over a "Riku's side" of KH1. He's my favorite character and i like his fighting style better than Sora's.

I've always wanted to take the role of Riku in their little squirmishes on Destiny Island.

 

although even fighting the Shadow Sora isn't like fighting the real one. I mean, even fighting Shadow Roxas was more like fighting yourself than Shadow Sora. Although, playing a Riku side of KH1 would be awesome. I wonder if we'll get something like that some day

 

I just thought of this, but if we do get some form of multiplayer in Dream Drop Distance, we might get to see this, as both Sora and Riku are playable characters. But then again, I think Square would probably opt for a team style thing, instead of versus...

 

Playing as Riku like a "his side of the story" kind of thing then fight Sora would legen- wait for it... dary!

I think Sora would be a challenge though. I mean common, he's So-mother effin'-ra! I doubt beating him and his crazy self will be easy. I also wouldn't mind a Sora and Ven fight. That would be awesome too.

 

Eh as much as I'd like to see this cliche idea I would get annoyed by Sora's whiny sounds of him getting beat up. But hey. I can be wrong.

 

How many times have I wanted to hit Sora? Not that much. But it is a idea that should go into consideration. Maybe something like the Org. XIII battles in KHIIFM?

Well, if you look at his new snazzy moves in Dream Drop distance then that could provide a more interesting fight xD Unless you get to fight with both Donald and Goofy as a challenge. However, you'd need to play a character with good moves as well (damn, I just want them to do a versus sort of game with KH >.<)

 

If you wanted a multiplayer fight against Riku you could always just play Days' mission mode against each other. I do it all the time (Mickey vs Roxas. Poor mouse)

But yeah this whole "Riku's side" thing for KH1 would be absolutely epic. I must have it if it ever is made!

 

Yeah that would be cool to fight against Sora! And a Riku's side of KH1 would be good I agree... Only problem is you would fight, and LOOSE against Sora. A lot.

I mean we already know how it's all going to end so the only option is to have Riku loose to Sora every time, so it can fit into continuity. But still if they could get it to work it would be amazing :D

 

Oh yeah, I forgot the part that Sora defeat Riku everytime (besides in Destiny Islands). Well, I remember the team battle with Sora, Donald, Goofy and Riku against the Parasite Cage in Monstro. But, maybe if they want to make the battles with Sora more enjoyable, they could let you defeat Sora and then, once you defeat him, Sora uses his luck and defeat you in a cutscene after you win the battle. And if they do something like KH 358/2 Days of Riku, what adventures lies to Riku while Roxas is in the Organization? I remember that

well the best thing u can do is have Days and have someone play their copy and have Sora which is what i do with my boyfriend lol he gets all mad and says "I thought you loved him...?" and I always reply yes but I love Roxas and Xion also lol or a secret part in recoded where it's Roxas and you get to play the fight and maybe win against him... idk it was just a idea

 

i belive the shadow sora in kh 1 was better but however i think you can battle him in 358/2 days in the multiplayer thing right?

 

I remember back when I first got it I used to always want to play as Riku and I would go to Jiminy's Journal with the Riku model in front of me and I kept pressing buttons in hopes I found a cheat to play as him.

I know, but I was young back then.

 

In response to everything else above, Yeah.... most to some of the fans have been demanding KH shows up in super smah bros. Or at least a KH rip-off of that game. As for the Riku part, one word. EPIC! and, I always wanted to play

and for the guy mashing buttons to play as Riku, I always wanted to have kairi on the party. Why? Becaus eshe wanted to come, and Sora promptly turned her down. Explains her KH2 behavior. I tried mashing buttons to play as her, but it didn't work. I was young to. It would be nice to play Kh1, but from Kairi's and Riku's perspective. Once again, that would be EPIC! What do you guys think?
