Within the past 7 days or so I couldn't sleep at all 3 nights this past week for no reason at all. I forced myself to stay awake in the day when it happens. This isn't the first time that it's happened, I believe sometime before the school year ended on May I couldn't sleep at all twice. I used to stay up all night before but that was when I was willing to stay up. Now I am randomly not sleeping when I want to sleep. I've had a little hard time getting to sleep last night too. I was afraid I would stay up again when I forced myself to stay awake yesterday. I would usually stay awake till 12 or 1 then I turn everything off and wake up around 10 in the morning. Recently I've sleeping earlier then midnight so I can wake up earlier. My friend would assume I have insomnia because of my sleeping patterns which I would agree with him.
This could be a number of things...Though I don't think insomnia just comes out of nowhere...Is there anything worrying you at all at the moment? Are you under any stress? Or perhaps you're simply coming down with an illness, a cold or something?
Now that school is gone and done with for nearly 3 weeks now I have nothing to worry or stress about. Im healthy as ever too. I dont really know what would be the cause of it all. I do have odd sleeping patterns and if my age has anything to do with it I'll be turning 18 in a month if that helps with anything.
I'm no doctor so I can't really offer anything besides the possibility that your irregular sleeping patterns may be messing with your body clock. Though if I were you I would got to a professional doctor and get a real educated opinion rather than the internets guessing. Sorry I coudn't be more help...But I wish you all the best anyway!
Are you able to tell us a bit more in regards to your inability to sleep? For example, what do you normally do on a daily basis? What is your definition of healthy? What is your diet like normally or how often do you partake in exercise? Do you often stimulate yourself with quantities of caffeine? Are you on the computer late through the night? There are a number of factors that need to be taken into consideration before we can safely diagnose or determine what exactly is your problem. I seriously suggest that you consult a health care professional such as a doctor or maybe a pharmacist if you require medications to help you sleep.
