Allergy Test

ermm, im getting my hair dyed black, but semi-permanent (in case i dont like it) and i was wondering, the one my mum got doesnt say to do an allergy test (ie put on inside of elbow and wait 48 hours) but it says it may cause allergies.

ive never been allergic to anything and im going to a party tonight and wanted to get my hair done for it. my mum put it on my elbow, do you think it would be ok to leave it for a couple of hours to see what happens or just wait 48 hours to be on the safe side?

I did that...It said it would wash out after 50 rinses...I have it in my hair for 6 months!!! ANd I had washed my hair more than 100 times...IT said temporary, but it wasn't..the color never faded..and when I stripped the color out, my hair turned oragne, red and white ...(don't ask how I handled it at skool)... Then I got SUPER BLONDE in my hair, and that just made it worse...

Well, generally allergic reactions happen pretty quickly (trust me, I'm allergic to EVERYTHING!!!!! ;) ) but if I were you, I would still play it safe........:D

 

nop, nop and do you mean take the 48 hour test or just the few hour one im doing now?

i really want my hair done and i dont mind if it stays in cos my hair is already dark brown and the semi-perm is only to assure my mum

 

I don't know...... I think you're better off with the 48 hr test if that's what the box tells you to do.

Oh, oops, the box DOEN't say it. um........ I still think you should play it safe.
