So, I've recently been getting into this band. I must say, I love them. Everyone's telling me they're just another screamo band. If you actually listen, they're hella awesome and it's not just pure screamo. So, what are your guys' thoughts on ATR?
They aren't that great, but then, since when are all the big metalcore acts any good? Compared to most of the garbage out there, they aren't bad, though. I'd listen to them, they just aren't a band I'll go out of my way to hear. I just wish some metalcore band would go with a name that DOESN'T sound emo.
I actually am not a massive fan of them. They aren't ****awful, but they aren't ****awesome either. Like I can have them on playing and I wont really be paying any attention, its just background noise. To be honest, I would like them a lot better if they were purely instrumental :D because they have some damn orgasmic beats and rythms.
Case in point, the solo to Two Weeks pretty much melts me. And I love the heavy tremolo in The Air That I Breathe. Damn sexy.
I listen to them alot. They are a very good band. I found them while listening to Attack Attack! I find them really awesome.
