I love this still-unfolding story. I really do. It shows the strength of the human bond, and how it can help people pull through, no matter the predicament. c:

Apparently movie producers are at the mine site, waiting to sign a film contract with the miners. Yeah, they're already making a movie. Who didn't see that one coming? Allegedly they already have at least one actor signed on for the project. "Should we give 'em a couple of days before we make a movie?" "NO. The world needs to be told what they already know, only from a different view point! IMMEDIATELY." Lol, whatevs.

But I'm so happy they're all ok. :')

Same here. My grandma was glued to her tv watching as they were rescued one by one.

But seriously how are producers waiting at the site and telling guys who haven't seen the light of day in a while, "Hey, we wanna make a movie out of your story!" Really what is that?

    Ah I'm happy too!
We watched the livestream of them rescuing one of the men (I think it was Alex Vega?) in Spanish today, it was so wonderful. Amongst all of the horrible news we get everyday, there's this little gem. I wanted to cry when he got out of the capsule and everyone started cheering. :'D

Kudos Cat for pointing out the same thing I was thinking. Yes, it was a great rescue, and yes, knowing Hollywood, there's going to be a book, a movie and a pig, cow and chicken made about this story.

They're asking for 20 million to be on tv networks. My mom told me today when she heard about it. I do think it was a great story, but the press went nuts over it and so did everybody who wants to make money off it.

Can they at least wait until they recover a little from it?
