I assume they're most widely known for their song, 'This Could Be Anywhere In The World'. Lately, I've really gotten into them. They're post-hardcore, but not that stupid generic post-hardcore shit. They recently released a new album called 'Old Crows/Young Cardinals', but I haven't listened to it properly yet, but I've listened to it enough that I don't like the direction they took with the aggressive vocals. One more thing, the clean vocals remind me of the vocalist from Rise Against. This Could Be Anywhere In The World Boiled Frogs No Transistory Side Walk When She Walks Hey, It's Your Funeral Mama
Used to be insanely in love with them, now...well...not so much. Don't get me wrong, I don't completely hate them or anything, I have just gone off them a little. Side Walk When She Walks is still a delicious song though anomnomnom The singing I like, the agression they sometimes show, I don't so much.
I heard of them in the past, but I never really bothered to listen. But recently I have, and I like they're song 'You Burn First.' It makes it ironic with they're name. They're other song 'Doom' is good. A lot of bass.
I love 'em. 8D I pretty much like all of their music, old and new. Though I've only heard the singles off of Old Crows/Young Cardinals. Dallas Green (the "clean" vocalist) has a solo side-project going on, if you like his style (I love him). It's called City and Colour. He's more acoustic on his own, and a lot less intense than Alexisonfire. Here's some of my favourite City and Colour songs: Waiting Sleeping Sickness The Girl Death of Me The more... "intense" vocalists also have a side-project, called The Black Lungs.
Mm, I like all of their stuff. Crisis is my favorite album, though. I've liked City & Colour a little longer than I liked Alexisonfire, actually. Sometimes (I Wish) is my favorite song by him.
Old Crows/ Young Cardinals is one of alexisonfires better work they get better every year which i find amazing
What a difference a month or so can make O: Recently, (and by that I mean the last two/three weeks) I have refound my long lost love for them. As for City and Colour, I have only relatively recently (again same time period) come across them, and wow, they are currently all over my music player :b Sensible Heart is my favourite by them.
