Like it said, it's likely your computer specs aren't up to par with what the PS2 emulator needs to run PS2 games.

    What are your specs, anyway?

If you can get good games up for a PS2 emulator, power too you. There arent many PS2 emulators, and if you get one and ACTUALLY get it working, unless you have like the newest computer on the market, It'll lag like CRAZY. I downloaded a few games for mine, and actually took the time to get the emulator working, but the alg was so bad, it was virtually unplayable. I neded up giving up, because theres simply no way to fix lag on an old computer like mine.

    ahhhh i see

    well thats very interesting

i could get GBA,Super Nintendo,DS,Dreamcast, and much more to work andd play games.

so i doubt my computer is crap.

but its probably what you said, its just not up to par.

thanks. i thought i was doing it wrong.

I have all those other ones except Dreamcast as well. those work fine on old computers (mines like 7 years old). I'm sure if you have a Dreamcast one that you know you need something called BIOS for your PS2 one, thats a big problem people experience, they forget to install BIOS. Make sure you have that in there, like I said, I had everything going great, and had games going but the lag was just way too intense, thats one of the problems I had.

    well thats very informative.

i did the BIOS thing for my dreamcast emulator.

but i didnt know that you had to do that for the PS2 one...

so i tryed it but it said the same thing as it did before.........X(

i think its mainly because i have a MAC and not a pc....

    oh welll

Oh yeah, mines a really old PC, I say just wait a bit, people are ALWAYS working on new emulators and new things for them, in due time, someone will master the PS2 emulator, but I doubt they'll fix the lag. PS2 is very high tech, it'll kill a lot of computers, but lets just hope we can get one thats good soon!
