    Ho-oh is god, Ash is Jesus Christ. Ash wanders the land gathering disciples, teaching people how to be good trainers and do the will of god. In the first movie he died for the sins of the pokemon, and in doing so he stopped the fighting. He resurrected after being trapped in a layer of stone and shortly ascended to heaven. He then decided it was boring up there, so he re-entered the world at the start. He then proceeds to continue to travel and spread god's word, stopping legendaries, etc.

    Quoted for lies. ??? from g/c/s is Giovanni's and proved. Go to 5 island and talk to the admin in the warehouse where you have to have 2 passwords and he'll mention Giovanni's son having red hair. It was never proven that Giovanni is Ash's dad unless you got a comic strip laying somewhere.
