Etiam - Fantasy MMORPG has finally been released! Countless gamers have waited anxiously and impatiently for the Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game whose graphics, story, and gameplay have shocked fans of the genre. Promising no lags, bugs, glitches, but a rewarding and fun 3D experience, Etiam has been preemptively hailed as "The Perfect MMO." Etiam is cross-platform (playable on any gaming console), completely interactive with every other player, and offers a "Haven" for gamers to associate with each other -as well as keep track of their characters- even when not playing! All the game requires is an internet connectivity and all of your free time! And now, you have your copy!​

Etiam ships with not just the game, but also a portable tablet where you can access Haven no matter where you are! Are you ready to lose yourself in the world of Etiam?​

Creating Players and Characters​

(*1 Character per Player)​

(*3 Players per RolePlayer)​

As opposed to most RolePlays, you don't need to fill out a full character form with information. You also don't need to initially give me your Player's Character's information right off the bat. There will be a small tutorial at the beginning of the RP where you pick Race, Secondary Element, and Classes as you go from the choices. (Think of being a Newbie in an MMO and selecting your Classes as you go through the start). Similarly, as the Characters are video game characters, there's no need for personality or backstory, etc. At the end of the tutorial, Character Cards will be made for everyone for the OOC thread. Anyone who joins after the tutorial ends will get a much shorter tutorial post so you can just jump right into the story.​

All you need to enroll in the RP is the following information:​

Player Name: (real name of your human Player)​

Age/Appearance: (Picture is preferable for your human Player)​

Fun Fact: (one simple thing about your human Player)​

Console: (how does your human Player play Etiam?)​

Rules and Information​

1. Follow all of KHV's rules.
2. Treat all other RolePlayers the same way that you expect them to treat you.
3. Break the rules and I do have the right to kick you out.
4. Following #3, I reserve the right to add rules -or break them for plot purposes myself-, but I will let you know if I do.
5. No godmodding or powerplaying.
6. This is an Advanced RolePlay for a reason. Decent grammar, lengthy posts, etc.
7. Actual gaming 'rules' don't necessarily apply. You can type from your Player's point-of-view, the Character's, or a combination; it's all up to you. So exact ability and equipment names aren't necessary (but feel free to get creative!). Your Character(s) isn't restricted by actual 'Game Physics,' so feel free to write them in-game as if it was a real universe (completely interacting with the environment, moving freely, emotions, real movements, etc.).
8. Elements are free to use whichever way you see fit, as long as it's not overpowered (combine them with Class abilities, weapons, shoot Elementballs, etc.)
9. Be creative in any way you can to break 'Game Physics' to make the video game as realistic as possible.
10. Appearances for Characters aren't restricted to the images I used. It's simply a guideline (Sprites are short and elfish, Bhurs are huge, Saurians are lizards, etc.) You have free reign as long as it's easy enough to figure out what species your Character is.
11. I know this type of RP is going to be difficult to get used to, but it'll get easier with time. I swear~

I watch the RP section, so that's why I'm here so quickly. I looked through this thread and the main RP. Two things:

1. On the RP thread, there is a fault in the coding where "Bestiary" appears at the bottom of the page in []'s
2. I like this. Give me a minute to read through this thread, and I will very much consider joining. It reminds me a bit of Code Lyoko or Spy Kids 3.

1. I've been trying so very hard to get rid of that. I can't figure out why it's still there, something to do with all the coding, but that doesn't actually appear in the Edit Window so I can't delete it. Still trying though.

Have you tried going under the BB Code Editor? A lot of times errors like that won't show up in the Rich Text Editor [ the default ], but if you click on the BB Code Editor button, it will appear there. Then you can just erase the text and Wam Bam Thank you Ma'am, it's gone.

Anyways, everyone's in~ We'll start at the end of this week to give more people time to join, if anyone else is interested, and to give me time to finalize the starting details.

 

It is an Advanced RP, but don't think your posts have to be that long (that's not always what makes an "Advanced" RP!). Anyway, everyone's first post should be similar. Your Player starting the game up and experience the same tutorial that I will be directing as "OLI." The game is officially online after clicking "Yes" (which means Characters can communicate via text or chat).
