hey guy's I asking this to anyone with more experience with gifs then me but how do I add text to one specific frame without it being added to every other frame? or is it not possible to do this without it being added to all frames?
It depends on the software. I know that in Photoshop, you can go to View>Animation> And choose the frame you want, apply the text you want and it should work.
ah kk ty chev! and that works because ironically I do use photoshop, adobe photoshop cs5 to be exact.^ ^
Actually, my mistake. You go to Window on the menu Window>Animation. It'll show you the animation window below with the frames. Just click on the frame and choose the text tool. Then just place the text. That should work.
Oh kk ty chev!^ ^ Hey chev I tried to add the text to my gif using the method you gave me but it STILL added the text to all the other frames, so it obviously did not work.D=< Any ideas?
There seems to be no solution to your problem yet. So maybe I can help. Ok so use the text tool and you will see this in your layers It has to be above all the layers for it to be visible the whole time. Now to have text for only one frame I type it in and then I manually drag it out of the image.
