No Thanks actually get a pin

hi i have benn reading about the pins and most of them are so hard to get.
would you be able to make a kingdom heart quiz that lasts a month and if you get 100% percentage on the quiz you get a pin saying you are a complete fan or something like that.
so that some of us members can at least have one pin, otherwise they are so hard to get and we will never end up getting a pin.
i hope you think about this and consider it.

I've read this before; I mean, something like this. Misty said that's really just part of the challenge, though I will agree that the other members should be given at least just one pin.

That's just up for the mods. Just my two cents...or one. However you take this. XD;;

 

The point of pins is to get them for some sort of a special reason, if the stuff starts to give pins away for whatever reason then the point will be lost. I would say to be patient and wait for the next chance to get one. Besides, you are new here, i don't see a reason to get all worried about such a thing.

I don't see why getting so upset but anyway..., you are new to me, i have never seen you before so...

All i am saying is to be patient untill the stuff decides to do an event of some sort for a pin. Seriously is just a virtual pin, no reason to beg for it. You will get one eventually.

 

I think the point of the pins is to really show how active you are within the forum. There is a Premium Pin, Secret Santa pin, and two from the fandub, it seems that if you actually take part in things going around the forum you can get pins.

and i been here since december 2009 so im not new
and all pins so far are quite tricky to get
and i know it a virtual pin but it stil nice to think that your such a fan of kingdom hearts that on the forum about it you stand out because you have something showing your a fan.
and ur new on here as well then as i havent seen u on here before!

 

Yet again, I think that is the point of the pins. Yes they are going to be tricky to get, what would be the point of them if they weren't? I think you just need to be patient.
And please calm down a bit, arguing over being new or not is not worth it.

maikeu69, I know the pins look nice and what not, but doing a Kingdom Hearts quiz wouldn't work, because anyone can just get the answer through the internet. That said, I know you guys want to get pins. Keep in mind that some events will happen this year too. (Like Castle Oblivion and Secret Santa) and the Anniversary ones will be unique each time, but will still be there.

However, Staff will keep this in mind. I know you guys want some pins too, so we'll try to think of something even normal members can achieve. We do have other Pins in store, and if they are event Pins, then they'll most likely be announced in the forum news.

Well, we're really trying to get more pins made and what not. We really do care about it all, but we can't really make pins for everything. However, don't fret; we are looking into making more pins that a broader group of people can partake in.

Keep in mind that the system doesn't send pins automatically, so we have to do all this by hand, and with the little amount of staff, and the huge amount of members, it's next to impossible.

No offense but I find it funny that your suggestion for an easy pin is almost exactly what one of the event pins was. Castle Oblivion was KH riddles and lasted for 2 1/2 weeks IIRC. Not quite a month but a considerable amount of time. As for what pins to go for I've got a couple of observations already on them.

The achievement pins are hard but you have as long as you need to reach them.

The event pins are generally easy to obtain but you need to be active and attentive to when events are going on. Sometimes it will be advertised that there is a pin for an event like the tail end of Castle Oblivion, and sometimes it is just a pleasant surprise at the end like Secret Santa. ((not perfect examples since those both got pins as soon as the pin system was in place, but there have been posts from staff that basically say that))

If you want a pin for minimal effort, KH3D seems to be the next on the release line and there is a pin simply for auditioning for a part in fandub productions.

 

just putting this out there but next time there's an event..you should participate in it, you most likely to get a pin if you do.^_^

 

Chev (and what others have mentioned) basically answered the question. :] More pins will come in time, all we ask is that you have a bit of patience with us. Use this time to work towards getting the ones that we currently have, or just sit tight.

But anyway, suggestion pretty much solved, so I'm going to close this.
