ACT and SAT scores?

Not sure where to put this
we need an education section...
but I want to compare scores

Who has taken the ACT or SAT?
I've taken the ACT twice
made a 26 the first time and 28 second time (with a perfect reading score)
I took the SAT Reasoning test and checked my scores online
Creative Reading: 570
Math: 590
Writing: 580
So total is apparently 1740 (if that's how you find the cumalative score) which is roughly a 25 on ACT.
Around here, that's pretty good
but i'm not sure about nation wide.

Anyone else want to post their scores?

 

SAT 8th grade year.
Reading: 580
Math: 610
Writting: 590

Or something like that. I might be 10 or so points off on the writting one...

 

i believe i scored a 1650 as the highest score on the SAT. i dont' remember the individual scores though.

 

I scored a 1300 on the SAT back when the highest score you could get was 1600.

i got around 1900 on the SAT when i took it in 7th grade.
i dont remember what i got in what areas all i remember is that i did awesome in reading.
i've still yet to take it since i got to high school... and i never took the act...

 

I'm taking it again in March, but 1860.

610 Reading
620 Writing
630 Math

Yeah, its alright, I really want to hit the 2100 mark though. Its the magic number, lol.

 

You can't. Who scored over 100%? I didn't see anyone.

Anyway, I got about 1600 when I was in seventh grade, but I had almost no preparation for it (which is why my score sucks >.<)

 

It's not a percent, it's a score.

if a normal school test counts twice for a semester grade then technically it's worth 200 points. If you make 200 points, you get 100%
you get 100 points, you get 50%

now back to the ORIGINAL TOPIC.

 

Successful troll is, unfortunately, successful. You probably know this, but the SATs/ACTs are NOT measured in percents, but in POINTS, just like every other standardized test you took since about 5th grade.

 

I never took any of them.

I did take a Pre-SAT test in like, 9th grade. But I decided that it was really pointless. I'm taking the ACT in a month or two I think, for college.

i remember scoring around 1680 or so on the SATs my second time around... i know, not one of the smartest kids... lol :D

 

these scores, i dont' think they reflect how a student would actually do in college. there weren't even that important in getting into college either, i scored low but got into a at least half decent school. i think i stressed myself out more than i needed to for the SAT.

 

I took the ACT twice.

7th grade: 23

10th grade: 30

 

I didn't stress for either, or study at all
i just took the ACT because i had to and when i scored high (at least for this area) i took it again (without studying) and did better
i scored low on the SAT but i just took it because my guidance counselor recommended it
I'm considering taking each again once and actually studying
I want to break 30 on the ACT and the equivalant of a ACT 30 on the SAT

 

I got an 1860 on my SAT, and a 30 on my ACT. Both were my first-time scores.

 

I never took any of the tests, except for the PSATs, and that was only to get into advanced placement English. I scored just enough to squeak my way into the class(er, average, which is AWFUL for me in English), but math was abysmally low.

I didn't really care since I got into the class I wanted anyway. YAY!

 

Yea, but you need to take them to get into college, since most of them require your scores.

 

I just took my ACT. I don't have the score yet.

 

I never actually took the SATs. My parents refused to let me take them....... Yeah....... my parents are just weird like that.
