Chain of Memories About Riku...

What does Increasing AP do? I know HP and DP (DP = FTW!) but I'm still a bit confused about AP.

 

AP is attack power. It raises his natural and Dark strength.

 

AP= Attack Power...

 

Note that AP affects both his regular attacks and his sleights.

 

yes so good idea to increase this once in a while tho i find that Dark Points are the most helpful statistic of all

 

DP's only somewhat helpful until the very end of the game, where you're more likely to die before running out of DP.

 

Sorry, I should have clarified. I knew that AP stood for Attack Points (what sort of tabletop gamer would I be otherwise? :S) but I wanted to know what Attack Points did. Thanks for answering, your help was great.

On a different note, I am absolutely loving playing as Riku, except when you get a crappy deck (like the one I got in Monstro, I had about eight 1's.) He's a lot more fun than Sora, and the story behind his being in Castle Oblivion is absolutely fascinating.

since riku can't have cutom keyblades, he can increase the amount of damage he can give to an opponent.

AP=Attack Power, since Riku's Soul Eater is a weapon with no other forms like the keyblade it means it needs to raise its strengh by its own way.

Attack Power means exactly what it says- the power to attack. The more AP you get, the more powerful your attacks will be, it's as simple as that.
