Okay... so I kind of based this off of the events that happened in the rpg, Twilight Love Family's Trip to New York... I started writing it last night... I hope you like it! ^^ Comments please? ^^ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~*Chapter One*~ Akari stood there, tapping her foot on the tile floor, impatiently. Every now and again she would glance down at her watch and then go back to looking out the window, waiting. Her long, blonde hair would blow in her face sometimes when a person rushed by, and she would just swiftly push it away from her face with her hand. Today was the big day... the day they go to New York... yet she was the only one who had shown up so far. How come everyone is so late?! She thought and sighed. Whatever... as long as they get here before the plane leaves... I'm alright with it... A smile suddenly grew on Akari's face as she saw a man with a short, brown hair turn the corner and start walking towards her. "I'm sorry I'm late..." he said, rubbing the back of his head, nervously. Akari crossed her arms and stared at him. "You better be..." she said and laughed, smiling. "You know I'm just kidding..." she said and hugged him. "I'm glad you could make it..." He hugged her back and smiled. But then he looked around. "So... where is everyone else?" he asked. "That's what I'm wondering..." Akari replied. "Apparently you weren't the only one who was late, Chiaki..." Chiaki couldn’t help but laugh at that statement. "I guess not..." he replied. "I just hope they get here before the plane does..." "They have at least an hour..." Akari said. "They'll be here..." A girl with long, black hair suddenly turned the corner and looked at them. "Hey, guys!" she said and smiled, waving. Akari and Chiaki waved back as she started to walk over to them. But then she suddenly tripped on a suitcase and fell down, her luggage scattering everywhere. "Ow!" she said and rubbed her ankle. Akari ran over to her with Chiaki and kneeled beside her. "Are you okay, Nami?" she asked. "Yeah... I'm fine..." she said and smiled. Chiaki extended his hand to her and helped her up. "You should try and be more careful..." he said and laughed, starting to pick up her luggage. "Yeah... you're right..." Nami said and helped pick up her luggage. After they had picked up the luggage, they walked with Nami over to the bench they had been standing by and set her stuff on there. "So... are we the only ones here so far?" Nami asked. "Unfortunately... yes..." Chiaki said. "But we're sure that everyone will show up soon..." Akari said, smiling. She walked over and looked out the window. "Wow... the planes are so big..." she said and looked at a huge plane with the words "American Airlines" on the side of it fly up into the sky. Now that I think of it... I would have rather crammed into a car and driven to New York than taken an airplane... she thought and gave a small sigh. I wish I wasn't afraid of airplanes... then this trip would be so much more fun... Chiaki had been talking with Nami when he saw that Akari looked a little upset. "I'll be right back..." He said to Nami and walked over to Akari. Nami just nodded silently and smiled as she watched the two. "Hey... what's wrong? You look upset about something..." Chiaki said to Akari as he came up behind her, putting a hand on her shoulder. Akari looked up at him. "I can't do this..." Akari said and shook her head. "I can't ride on an airplane... Especially this far away from home..." "Akari... nothing's going to happen..." he said, already knowing of her fear of planes. "Don't worry... it's not even that long of a plane ride... we'll be there before you know it..." Akari turned to face him. "But what if something does go wrong?! What do we do then?!" she asked, tears starting to fill her eyes. Chiaki could see the tears start to form in her eyes and he pulled her closer, gently embracing her. "Don't be scared... we'll all be here if anything happens... but it wouldn't be the same if you didn't come with us..." Akari blushed a little at his sudden embrace and looked up at him, the tears now falling down her cheeks. He gently wiped the tears away, smiling. She smiled and returned the hug. "Alright... I'll go..." she said, wiping away the remaining tears in her eyes. She suddenly started twiddling her fingers nervously. "But... um... would you mind sitting with me on the plane...?" she asked, her face turning a little redder. "Sure... I'll sit with you if that would make you feel better..." Chiaki replied, smiling. "Thanks..." Akari said and smiled. Chiaki led her back over to where Nami was standing. A girl with long, fiery, red hair suddenly walked over to them. "Hey, guys..." she said. "Kasai! You're here!" Akari said and smiled. "Glad to see you could make it..." Chiaki said and gave her a hug, smiling. "You don't seem all that excited to be here..." Nami said. "I'm not..." Kasai replied to Nami and hugged Chiaki back. "I don't know... I'm just not in the Christmas spirit this year..." "Well... we'll make sure you do get in the spirit..." Akari said and laughed, grinning. "So... nobody else showed up, yet?" Kasai asked, pointing out the obvious. "Nope..." Akari said and then her phone suddenly started to ring. She took it out of her pocket and opened it, putting it up to her ears. It immediately stopped ringing. "Hello...? Yeah... Uh-huh... Okay... Great! See ya in a bit!" She said into the phone and put it back in her pocket. "So... who was it?" Nami asked, curiously. "It was Miyoko... she said she'd be here soon..." Akari said and smiled. "Well that's good to hear... it looks like people are finally starting to arrive..." Chiaki said. Suddenly, a luggage cart zipped around the corner. A girl with short, red hair was riding on it, laughing as she zoomed around. She glanced at the group as she passed them but then suddenly stopped the cart a couple feet away from them and hopped off of it. "Hey, guys!" she said, grinning. "Sorry I'm late... it took me longer to pack then I thought..." They all laughed. "It's alright..." Akari said, smiling. "At least you made it, Miyoko... now... It looks like everybody's here..." "And so is the plane..." Nami said, pointing out the window at a plane that had just pulled up to their gate. "Great... here we go..." Akari muttered and sighed. She was not looking forward to this plane ride. ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wow, that's really well written. The only thing I've got to say about it is that the speech structure is a little confuseing at times. I had trouble telling who was speaking a couple of times. But the discription and everything like that which people tend to forget was great. ^^
