358/2 Days A sudden revelation! :O

Randomly, I was thinking about how the title/logo for KH2 did not show up until after Roxas' seven days in Twilight Town. So does that mean those seven days are not a part of KH2? I am starting to think those seven days are the ending to 358/2 Days. Or maybe right before that. Or maybe I don't know what I am saying.

358 = a year minus a week
the week you play as roxas is his last week out of the year. the other part of the year is in org 13

Nope, there is seven.

I just beat Proud mode Twilight town
for the second time,
and I'm on my way to beating Proud mode for the second time ever.

As for theory:

I said this in my theory.

 

unnnnfortunately, it shows the title right before the passion video (opening cutscene of Kingdom Hearts right after you start a new game.)

Not only this, but 365 - 7 = 358...you play seven days of roxas...358/2 days I assume will only cover 358/2 days. I'm not saying that the last cutscene will not be in the game, but its not important to 358/2 days.

Haha, but since a leap year only comes every four years, I think we're supposed to infer it's not a leap year.

Anyway, I agree that those days in the data Twilight Town are the remaining days that Roxas spends on the Earth before vanishing (therefore giving Sora half of himself back) and that the other 358 days were spent with the Organization...but I disctinctly remember you spend six days as Roxas in the beginning of KHII. I checked the KH2 cutscene archive on this site just to be sure, and it says six days.

Hmmm...maybe you start playing on Roxas' second day in Twilight Town? Is that possible?

Usually in videogames or film directors will do that.

 

There were 6 days in the fake Twilight Town, but I'm assuming that the extra missing day is probably the one where Riku catches Roxas as it would make sense they'd have to take him, get Namine to wipe his memories and then put him in the fake world.

I think the biggest puzzle is what that /2 symbolizes.

 

I've played Kingdom Hearts 2 all the way through like over five times and I have all the Roxas' Twilight Town cutscenes. His last is the 6th day (Interesting Fact: The Bible says that on the 6th day God created man. I thought of this after watching The 6th Day). The seventh day is Sora's.

 

Well, the fake twilight town. Anyways, that is possible, since Roxas said on the first day, " I had that dream again." That would mean he would have to have been in fake twilight town for a day before that.

 

Yeah, that is possible, but maybe he just thought he had the dream again? I'm guessing Roxas assumes he's been living in Twilight Town (really the fake Twilight Town) all his life, even though he's only been living there for a day, because Namine or someone tampered with his memories to make him believe that he has been. Just like Sora and Repliku in CoM, he must have been given false memories of a false past. Also, in the second volume of the manga (it might not be the best source for canon, but I might as well bring it up), it shows Roxas telling Axel about dreams he's been having about a boy with a keyblade who isn't him, so we're led to believe he's been having these dreams before he was defeated by Riku and sent to the data town. Perhaps the dreams are the only thing he remembers from his true past, but the rest of his memories (like being friends with Hayner, Pence, and Olette for so long) are fake.
