    If you read my strategy to level up fast and you are at level 99 or between 60 and 99 and cannot beat mysterious figure here is a strategy: Deck: Thunder surge X5
    Curaga X3
    (note iv only done this strategy with ventus ) you need 3 thunder boost abilities to make thunder surge really effective to mysterious figure if you have 3 thunder boost using thunder surge will take alot of his life away (75% of a bar ) you need lots of health boosts to have a big health bar you need all magic hastes and attack hastes to reload your attacks and curagas quick you need all these requirements or you get your a$$ handed to ya ^^
    now at the start of the battle unknown will move to his left (your right) and run to you you move forward and use thunder surge if you have 3 thunder boosts you take loads of his life half or 75% of his first life bar then just dodge roll away from him until you see an opening to use thunder surge if he takes your health low dodge roll until your in a safe position then use curaga you then repeat

    Just to add, the less abilities you have, the less agressive he seems to be, so if you're on Critical turn off HP boosts since it's one hit => 1 HP, and in any case turn any abilities not needed off too, like Fire boost or Link Prize Plus.
    In case you wanna use Curaga, do it right after you avoid the rope(whle he's on the air), at the third dash of his Sonic Blade-like attack(risky since he sometimes uses 5 instead of 3/4, so the last will hit), when he does the X-slash(Leaf bracer will make it go through you if you use it at the right time) and when he uses the Whirlwind (same happens to the whirldwind, though on second phase it's better to run because it has the same startup as Meteor and Mega Flare).

    Also, i find it useful to replace 2 Thunder surges and a Curaga with Unison Rush or Trinity Limit.
    Trinity kills all clones if you have 30+ magic and hit for Good or Excellent, and Unison Rush gives a insanely huge amount of i-frames, enough to completely avoid the Orbs's attack as well as do around 1/4th of the bar if you press /\ fast enough(well, see if he's guarding before mashing or it can heal) and got a Attack of 30+.

    thunder surge seems to be verry effective if you have 3 thunder boosts also with the deck in my first post used he doesnt use his time attack also if he releases loads of blue balls shooting lazers dodge roll away he sometimes turn invisable so unless you know exactly where he is (his swords reveal his position ) just dodge roll from him when he releases his clones thunder surge through them making them disapear also he uses a tornado attack wich scatters your command you need to dodge roll away from the tornado attack or collect the commands back if you were hit (the commands look like little yellow cards) dodge his attack thunder surge repeat the process and you should whoop his A$$ good luck (thank you cubia for your add aswell ^^)

    I' ve finally beaten him this afternoon !

    Not on Critical Mode (or am I just unlucky ?)
    I didn' t want to rely on any kind of surge anyway, the fight was too intense for me to waste my time switching between commands (by the time I got to to the command I needed, or realized I already had the right command, most of the time it was too late to use it). I took only Curagas commands, disabled the abilities you mentioned and also every magic or reload boost, and just as you said I rolled around like crazy and hit him when it was safe. Depending on the situation I hit him either with a single regular keyblade hit, some well-timed Renewal Blocks followed by counters, or some quick Pulse Bomb Shotlocks (a third or a half bar damage if he doesn't Renewal Block it, which he will do if you' re too greedy and charge it for too long).

    If you manage to build up the focus bar right at the beginning of the fight, using two block-counters in a row, it allows you to throw a finish command (Ven' s Stratosphere deals almost a full bar damage if every hit lands, if you manage to pull this off twice you' re already mid-fight).

    Also, I noticed that the Ultima Weapon keyblade deals more damage in this fight, physical or magical, than the Void Gear, despite what their stats say.

    @sora_rox

    Dodge roll all the time and don't stop. You can't let him hit you , and if you're aqua or terra , keep cartwheeling or sliding , it avoids his attacks AND don't use any of the elemental abilities like flame dodgeroll or ice slide , just use a full leveled up slide , cartwheel or dodgeroll. and use thunder surge when he's open. or when you can and don't use shot locks , because if he deflects any of them his health is restored by a bar or so.

    The invisability is temporary and it is generally considered unwise to attack him durring it. So don't look for openings at that point, just keep moving.

    Agreed. All you can see of him is his swords and a wierd ripply effect like heat waves off a road. Although, if you can recognise him doing a move that leaves him open after (like his X slash) you can get him then, but after you hit him, GET THE HELL OUTTA THERE!! Also, if he's invisible but you know he has low health, it may be worth the risk (worked for me, but i had to wait for him to open his defence)
    Hope this helps anyone
